The google stadia should have had a mascot I propose they fully embrace momo the cat as the google doodle mascot and make more games for her on the stadia

YEAH! LET'S GIVE IT UP FOR:

  • basic match 3 with the blocks being potions or something and momo is off to the side
  • remasters of the google doodles which just put them in widescreen
  • 3d "platformer" where nobody looks right in 3d and you basically just walk around and do "quests" that are all just "give item a to character a" and fight ghosts which is just basically the google doodle again
  • pac-man clone to reference that one pac-man doodle
  • cancelled game with a lot of cool concept art that people fantasize over
  • barebones sports game about that one olympics doodle

I need some advice for making Smash rosters. What would be a reasonable amount of veterans to cut? And what would be a reasonable number of newcomers to add?

Well Brawl cut 5 and WIIU/3DS cut 6 (later adding 1 back in but I wouldn't put that in consideration)

A ton of people seem to assume the next Smash NEEDS to cut an horrific number of characters, which is debatable. It's a tricky thing to estimate if you're going with traditional sequel mindset and not a reboot/overhaul one.

I like the above roster, and I’m unsure how many cuts and newcomers the next game will have. If we went off of historical trends, between 15 and 20% of the roster had been cut between entries, which would be roughly between 13 and 18 cuts (counting echoes here). Brawl and For had roughly 15 newcomers before accounting for last minute additions.
In the case of SSB6, I’m unsure what the best number is as we have a much larger roster now, which may be more volatile in terms of development, possibly leading to more cuts than expected (maybe 20-30). I still think 10-15 newcomers seems reasonable.
