I am pretty confident in saying that it might be Snoopy.

The Fortnite Event was good!

It was exactly in line with the old Chapter 2 concerts like Travis Scott and Ariana Grande, and I always liked those. And it even gave us a little bit of a Chapter 6 glimpse. Super Excited for that season btw.

My problems with the event stem from my problems with the season.

It also gave us this monstrosity

Something I regret in hindsight is not buying the Lego set of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, because It has become one of my favorite buildings of all time, and also because I vividly remember seeing it for sale when it was new for retail price, and it now goes for 500+ dollars.

Sometimes I think I am the only person who remembers the Smash 4 AKB48 Trailer

I remember already being incredibly excited for Mii Fighters after the E3 Trailer

(and also this Mii fighter trailer that has also never left my mind) Abraham Lincoln, Elijah Wood and Ice T might be the most random people they could have chose, I love it so much

but the AKB48 teaser also stuck in my mind for some reason, I don't know why. I was in Middle school and didn't know what an AKB48 was until that trailer but it was hype to me at the time I guess, and is the reason I got into a lot of J-Pop outside of Vocaloid.

There was a time where I thought Baba Yetu and Gusty Garden Galaxy were the single best video game songs of all time

Remember Me from Coco is used weirdly

Coco spoilers I guess?

The movie explicitly shows that the upbeat and commercialized version of the song is the one by the bad guy, and is shown to be a complete bastardization of the original, so using it in a positive context is against the story. But IRL because the original lullaby version is an easy way to make most people cry on command, everyone kind of always uses the upbeat one or a different commercialized one so they don't have to deal with that.

if you really need to use an upbeat song from Coco, Un Poco Loco is right there, that one is underrated, so is La Llorona

My 2 biggest problems with NSO music

1. No composer credits, that is like a basic feature for any music platform and even Smash Ultimate had it

2. They don't use the official album art for soundtracks that were officially released

You guys already used high quality art of Mario Galaxy's soundtrack for 3D all-stars, use it here!!! The way you are using the box art looks bad!!!

The misuse of the phrase "official canon" with these pokemon leaks is starting to really pet my peeve.

No, I doubt the documents made more than a decade ago, that were never meant to be seen by the public, and leaked through a breach of employees data, is considered the official canon of the series.

I finally created a new online presence for myself with a new YouTube video and a bunch of new accounts on Social Media, finally ready to start doing stuff in regards to content creation like I've wanted to do for years

This might actually have been the worst time to do it. Algorithms are dog ****, there is basically no discoverability anywhere and Corporations really really want personal data from new accounts (I cannot think of any non malicious reason why YouTube either needs a 30 second video of my face or my photo ID. I will do the "wait a few months" option instead)

Not to mention how there is so much finicky stuff like no longer being able to share Block lists on Twitter. And just the general en****tification of the Internet.

I finally saw the trailer for it while in the theater but something about the artstyle of that War of the Rohirrim doesn't feel right

I'm not really a Tolkien Scholar and I'm a very casual fan of that universe, but the artstyle, while very pretty, doesn't feel very "Whimsical" like I personally think it should, I think Live Action does work well for the universe when done right but when it comes to animation, I think a lot more stylization like the Ralph Bakshi LOTR or Rankin Bass Hobbit are the best ways to go.

I also might just be nuts and I am too attached to things that already exist.
