  • Backwards Gisney Movie watch through.

Toy Story 3 - A great one, This movie makes me cry every time without fail and Any story that involves aging ****s me up. The toy related visual gags and jokes are still great and some other fantastic jokes like the Death By Monkey’s Button. I love the fact it's a toy mob/prison movie movie. This movie was scarier than I remember. The monkey is terrifying. I have some small gripes, Andy looks like he is 20 when he is canonically 17 doesn't vibe with me, it looks off. The weird Jessie and buzz romance is another one.

Tangled - Final Fantasy 9 the movie. I love this movie a lot. It's funny, it has great music, animation and character design. This movie made me realize that I really hate the 3rd act breakup/misunderstanding trope, it does work in some situations but most of the time it just feels like a checklist, this movie did it well I don't even know why I'm ranting about it here. It just reminded me how much I hate that trope.

Cars 2 - The "Sonic 06" of Pixar. The First Pixar L, This movie sucks and is a god damn enigma. My point from Cars 1 still stands. Mater is always worse than you remember, apply that twofold for this one. Mater actively destroys this movie. He is so aggressively annoying and unfunny, He ruins any potentially good part about this movie. Speaking of good stuff This movie looks fantastic and the spy plot is unironically interesting. If this movie cut Mater we would have a relatively interesting plot, but unfortunately Mater Is still here. The part in London was actually pretty okay. Other points, this movie seems weirdly classist, the world travel aspect painfully generic due to them using the most basic stereotypes. Another more specific terrible part, Mater experienced no consequences for his actions.
There are a lot of indie games that are advertised as [blank]-inspired game, and I feel like that is doing a lot of games a disservice, It works as a advertising hook but after that the game will be constantly compared to the game that it is based off of making the Indie game look worse in comparison, You see it constantly with things like Yooka-Laylee, Mighty Number 9, and now with old SMT Devs making a School RPG.

Bloodstained managed to escape the trappings because Konami.
I thought Sonic Forces was Okay so I might not be the best judge of this but maybe we should wait until the new Sonic game comes out and make judgement then instead of taking a 4chan rumor at face value.

I will admit, the rumor does not sound great but I will reserve judgement.
S3&K is cool but rerelease some games that are not from the Genesis era Sega.

I don't even mean ultimate editions like with colors, if you just put Unleashed completely unchanged on modern consoles I'd be happy.
    Disney Movie Watchtrough.

Bolt - Dog Travolta and Ellie from the last of us. This movie is actually pretty okay but it is so unremarkable and forgettable. It looks good and I'm a sucker for Road trip aesthetics and plots. and also the fictional villain organization has quality designs. But it has some annoying characters and some basic plot points. The fictional show probably would have been better than the movie we got.

UP - Another great one. The first 15 minutes still gets me every time. Muntz is a better villain than people give him credit for. The animation was also a real stand out here.

Princess and the Frog - I absolutely love this one. It has gorgeous animation, some of the best music in a Disney movie, and some great characters. This should be considered up there with Lion King, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast as one of the best Disney movies of all time.
I feel like the whole Smash Speculation scene needs a healthy dose of Subjectivity. I've seen too many people call Byleth or Pyra Objectively Bad i'm not free of this completely either but it is getting really bad with these last 2 characters on the horizon.

And they're free to continue acting like morons.

The thing that gets me is that I see a lot of it coming from people who really, really want more lowkey characters like them and adamantly insist on telling people to keep their expectations in check over and over again.

You can't go around parading "Smash reveals tend to get less hype" and expect to win people over, you're inherently putting a bunch of characters in a more negative light and policing people that want characters that are over an arbitrary level of popularity. Most people are aware of the trend but most people also know that hype is subjective and would also like to speculate and talk about their favourites without constant interruptions like that.

It's really counterproductive when you could just discuss the merits of the character you want and how that stacks up in terms of giving them a reasonable shot. That's a far healthier form of speculation but people insist on being really inflammatory over video game characters and it sucks.

**** all the haters of pyra/mythra.

Only character(s) from this pass that I was actually hyped for.

If you were someone who was hyped for Noodlegirl, Blockhead, or Mama's boy, but now want to **** on The Bae blades, or those that were hyped for them, y'all can kindly go **** yourselves.
Just saw the Demon Slayer movie, It was really fantastic. I loved how it looked the animation was practically erotic. The music was also incredible. And the story was really well done. Spoilers: Rengoku was a ****in Chad.

Honestly this encapsulated everything I like about Demon Slayer, While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, the whole thing is just incredibly well made.
People: Complain about how Amiibo don't do anything

Nintendo: Has an Amiibo do something

People: Complain about Amiibo doing something

Moral of the story, Everyone loses. Good features being locked behind paywalls is dumb, no matter what content Nintendo puts into the amiibo people will complain about it regardless.
    Disney animated Canon Watch through

Meet The Robinsons - I really liked this one. It had a moral that resonated with me. And I just thought it was fun. It was WAAAY more erratic than I remember it being, and also the animation was interesting to say the least.

Ratatouille - Pixar could not stop putting out Bangers ngl. I love this one too. As someone who loves food and cooking, this one spoke to me. It also looked and sounded fantastic.

WALL-E - back in 2008 "Haha funny robot" in 2021 "hah funny robot and wow this capitalist hellscape is not nearly as fictional as I once thought holy ****" I love this one too, It makes me melancholy for some reason but that is why I appreciate the optimistic ending. The Robot designs were all bangers.
Will there be a General E3 Live Reaction thread once the time comes or will it just be Profile Posts and the Social Thread?

I know for Non-E3 Directs there was a speculation thread but will there be anything bigger for E3
    Disney animated Canon watchthrough:

The Incredibles - Probably my Favorite Pixar movie, definitely a top 5, it’s dark, clever and interesting with kickass music and Art direction

Chicken Little - I’d say the negative reputation of this movie is warranted. It has good Animation and character designs and some funny jokes. But the story meanders and has incredibly pointless plot points, it’s weirdly mean spirited and it doesn’t earn its emotional beats. The frequent use of Pop music and Pop-culture references got annoying quickly and so did a lot of the other Juvenile humor. It felt like Bootleg Shrek

Cars - Redneck Toy Story, The epitome of 7/10, It looks fantastic and has a nice story if a bit contrived, I used to go on a lot of road trips and this movie recaptured the feeling quite well and the soundtrack kind of slaps. Mater is always worse than you remember him being.

Chick Hicks looks like he would say a slur and then only give a half hearted apology.
Finally got Chicken Little out of the way on my Disney animated watchthrough.

That was just as bad as I remember. I'll post more detailed thoughts after I watch Cars
I may or may not be making a Jonesy challenger pack concept...

I just want people to know that there are some great songs in Fortnite's Soundtrack

That's what a vaccine does to you. Just be sure to drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest.

If your arm is sore, be sure to roll it backwards every now and then.

Drink a lot of water. I had the same thing a couple of days ago when I got my first shot. Once I started drinking water, the headaches and dizziness started to go away.
    Disney Animated Canon watchthrough

Lilo & Stitch - Fantastic, I love the artstyle, music and everything about it is creative and good.

Treasure Planet - The first part when they are all on the ship is fantastic, As soon as they meet BEN, the movie goes downhill fast. It ends on a good note though. This movie has fantastic character, ship and world design. Long John Silver is one of the best Disney Villains. I'd say it was a movie with really high highs and really low lows.

    Finding Nemo - Another great one, the music and visuals are G O R G E O U S and it's just funny.
We are selecting 3 more characters to join the roster and we are also designing Mario's move set on the Smash Mobile thread

My physical copy of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World The Game arrived.

This game's title goes pretty much to the end of the spine, which made me make the top 5 longest physical switch game titles that I own according to how far down they go on the box.

    5. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
    4. Shantae Half-genie Hero Ultimate Edition
    3. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
    2. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World The Game Complete Edition
    1. Dragon Quest 11 S Echoes Of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition
