One roster-building mindset I occasionally have that's hard to break out of is an insistence that iconic duos need to share a slot when they could easily work as individual fighters.
I think that a "nobody" indie rep would be really cool in Smash but I don't want to subject an indie dev to the sudden amount of attention a Smash character would give. Especially if this character is marketed like all of the other characters are.
