Yesterday I watched a performance of the wizard of oz and after it I was waiting in the hallway for my friends and heard a kid about 5 years old singing ding dong the witch is dead. Even putting margaret thatcher jokes aside, I think it’s just really funny for a kid to gleefully sing about someone being dead.
I later found out that was the sister of the person who played the wicked witch in that performance and that makes it ten times funnier for me now
