In the wake of Banjo & Kazooie’s debut and Terry Bogard’s reveal as a newcomer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo of Europe announced the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate European Circuit, a seven-event series set up to “determine Europe’s best player.”

In the most recent Nintendo Direct, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate received a surprising amount of updates.There was a quick teaser in the Direct itself to announce SNK’s Terry Bogard as the fourth character in the Fighter Pack. After the direct, there was a 25 minute breakdown of the Banjo Kazooie content as well as a few more features that came in patch 5.0.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Ver. 5.0.0 patch released today, and Banjo & Kazooie have just joined the fight! They aren’t the only new things to check out in this patch either, there’s a ton of content that was added.

Summer might be coming to a close, but the holiday season waits for no one. Maybe the wait for Banjo & Kazooie is almost done!

During his video presentation on Hero in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai confirmed that Hero will be available for those who purchased the Fighter Pass on July 30th in North and South America and July 31st in Europe and Japan!
