I'm not really ragging on Astro Bot with this post, the game looks cute from what I've seen, I'm moreso just using Astro Bot as a vehicle to criticise Smash presenting itself as at all important (like as a "celebration of gaming") and how people are convinced Smash is any less capitalistic than any other corporate-funded crossover. I don't even mind Smash being an ad alone (if I did, I'd hate the fundamental concept of the series as far back as 64 and wouldn't be on this site), I just wish people would acknowledge it and not give it and its cameos special treatment over something like say, Space Jam 2 or Ready Player One.
