i just thought about how kinda humorous it was that smash crusade did the whole "final smash meter" thing a whole decade before ultimate got to it
out of all the smash games, which one do you guys think have the most "degenerate" items? as in, if they're very poorly balanced, even for being smash bros items, like they give an absurd advantage to the player who picks it up

i was thinking about champion of pilkrule's profile post last night and it reminded me of an idea i had for a hypothetical tumblr-themed platform fighter, idk what the characters or mechanics in it would be, but the only thing i came up with was a dashcon stage and it takes place in the ballpit, and it'll be like melee brinstar, where you're on a bunch of platforms above the ballpit and occasionally, the ballpit will rise with mysterious yellow liquid

i had a dream last night where vargskelethor (joel vinesauce) made a mario 64 rom hack, where mario's the size of a rat in a sort of urban downtown looking area, with restaurants in every corner, and your goal was to collect the special dish from their menus in each restaurant so that mario can get the supplies to make the ultimate dish for the princess
the obstacles were mainly people walking around who can squish you under their shoes and typical restaurant commodities, like knives, flies, rats, and and babies flinging their food everywhere which netted you an instant death, it was super dope
i always fear seeing what ive set my name to when i visit a server i haven't been to in a good while

i had a dream where i played the paper mario thousand year door remake where there was a new area called the "shadow temple" and it would just be this area you get transported too in between chapters (kinda like bleck's castle sorta?) and on one of those paper plane gliding areas, if you did a frame perfect input and landing on a pillar that was just far away enough for you to reach, you would be able to talk to sans undertale, who was just his undertale overworld sprite, and all he said was "hey kid, congrats on making it over here. sussy fortnite balls. eheheheheh" and then he bricked my switch and then i woke up
