I woke at literally at 2am when I went to bed at 9pm. This usually happens to me the day before a Smash presentation.
...Which, in this case, was Father's Day! We had a sort of Swiss steak soup (thing?) and mashed potatoes for dinner, and ice cream sandwiches (with chocolate chips around the ice cream) for dessert!
Does anyone know of a wild west-themed Fire Emblem fan game? I remember seeing one once, but I can't find it now.

I made a new Classic Mode thread yesterday.
You guys remember those brand parody stickers? Stuff like Rotz and Garbage Patch Kids? I saw a lot of middle schoolers stick that onto their binders back in the day.
Not gonna lie, I'd just about EXPLODE with rage if Spring Man got in.
Not BECAUSE he's in (I like him as a character) but because people will rub it in my face that Spring Man got in first and not another character (out of literally 15) like the initial teaser promised.
The power just randomly went out, and won't be back on for a couple hours.
We're basically trapped in total darkness.
Say, what do you think about the possibility of a Smash Ultimate Special Edition with:
-All the DLC
-A few new fighters
-More new stages (both for veterans and newcomers)
-A WoL expansion ("World of Elements" sound good?) with more cutscenes
-Grima and Porky as bosses
-3 more rounds in Classic Mode with a Brawl-style Target Test as the first Bonus Round
-Way more music (both for current reps and newcomer series, as well as music for the Other section)
I can't wait for the day when Sakurai says "we attempted to make Spring Man playable by way of disabling his Assist Trophy when he's playable during lunch breaks. But unfortunately, we ran into some complications. We didn't want to take any chance of the game crashing because of this, hence why we chose [this character] instead."

First cutscene sold me on Sakura Shinguji's strength and Smash potential.
My aunt's dad died in the hospital...alone...over three hours ago. My stepmom was breaking down in tears.
I've already paid my respects and sent my aunt and uncle my best regards. May my aunt's dad be missed.
I had a dream last night where swarms of life-size dolls with button eyes-all boy and girl dolls that looked like young teenagers, in blue and pink shirts-chased me around a mall and tried to turn me into one of them. There were hundreds of them in every corner of the mall.
The only place I could barricade myself was in a nearby closet, but to no avail. The dolls had me surrounded as they broke through the closet. Hundreds of fingers all around my body. I was pulled out of the closet and restrained as the dolls coated me in fabric and turned me into a mindless puppet.
How do you think Caddicarus might react if Crash and/or Rayman were part of Vol. 2?
My aunt's dad is in the hospital, and he's not doing so well. He basically has his kidneys starting to shut down, and...none of my family can visit him, due to you-know-what.
I think that's the worst part of this whole thing; when a loved one needs the love of another the most in this time, that's only possible via prayers or distant communication.
I'll admit I was closer to my aunts, uncles and cousins than my aunt's father, but my prayers are with him and the rest of my aunt's family regardless.
You know, I think Corneria has the biggest jump in presentation when it comes to most of Ultimate's stages. In essence, it's a stage that's both old and new.

Okay, I like Byleth as a character, but you know what’s make them more interesting? (SPOILER WARNING, BTW)
If Rhea was somehow able to control her copies of Sothis, and eventually found a way with Byleth during Chapter 8, foreshadowing that they’re another copy.

If Square was allowed to remake Super Mario RPG and keep the characters the same, WYR the gameplay be just like the original or make it a more kid-friendly version of FF7R’s combat?
Would anyone be okay if the MvC Infinite version of X vs. Zero was used in Ultimate alongside the normal version?
I was playing a hazardless match with Joker against Snake, and I used Joker’s Grappling Hook to catch Snake’s grenade and threw it back straight after.
Seems like the the kind of Joker thing to do.

I dunno why people rip Smash 4’s results theme a new one for not being triumphant like Brawl’s. Brawl’s is fantastic, don’t get me wrong. But I think of Smash 4’s more like the calm after the battle you just finished, regardless of who wins or loses.

Just saying; we have only a 2/15 chance of the mascot/protagonist rule actually coming into fruition (which is pretty ****in’ low).
I think the reason any 2nd reps from a single 3rd party series are Echoes so far is that if a 3rd party series got TWO unique fighters, people might complain about Sakurai being biased towards that series. So props to Sakurai for keeping each 3rd party series special, even with the two Echoes for Street Fighter and Castlevania, respectively.
Hot take: I respect wanting to change a veteran’s Final Smash (because GOD KNOWS some of ‘em need it), but it legit makes me CRINGE when people suggest Final Smashes that only exist to make a character look cool.
For example, Peach and Daisy don’t NEED their super moves from Strikers Charged; just change the latter’s FS to inflict a flower effect on all fighters. Plus, giving Mario the T-Rex is an okay idea, but timing and development issues probably would’ve caused complications.
For those who DO need it, though? Hoo, boy, where to start? Well, expanding on Mario for JUST a bit, they should’ve at least given HIM a Mega Mushroom, and kept it for Ultimate.
TL;DR I’m okay with FS change, just as long as it stays true to that character.
You guys remember the glide mechanic, and how it only existed in Brawl (which I didn’t even know existed at all until the April 2014 Smash Direct)? Why do you think it was removed? Apparently there was data found in both Smash 4 and Ultimate that certain characters were supposed to glide.

Unpopular opinion: The most I can see the Boost implemented into Sonic’s moveset is a dash attack, and as a brief boost. If it were his Side B (which I’d rather the Light Speed Dash be), it could possibly be one the messiest Side B in Smash history.
Does anyone remember a CN game that blatantly rips off Smash? It was called Punch Time Explosion. -
