This game really seems to be taking a "plot first" approach, and it kinda worries me. The DTL games are generally more known and remembered for their plots than gameplay, but they still had mostly solid platforming. This just looks like a single player reskin of a previous Digital Continue game, JumpStream - and it doesn't even have that much drawing.
I kinda worry indie revivals of dormant franchises owned by bigger studios that are just reskins will become a trend. I don't want to get all hyped up for Gex 4 or something only to be greeted with Whipseey and the Lost Atlas Deluxe.
