So, as you may have heard, Konami has announced a remake of Silent Hill 2, and it honestly looks pretty good. However, the dev team they chose for this was… Bloober Team, which I did NOT hear good things about. As they would say in Star Wars, I've got a bad feeling about this.

Unless Bloober Team can prove themselves somehow, we might be in trouble… And when I say "we", I mean Silent Hill fans.

Games have changed over the years - this much is true, and I love a game with a good story as much as anybody would - whether the story is simple and straightforward or complex and convoluted - but I think we need more arcade-style games. Especially in terms of gameplay and presentation.

The Lord of the Rings is kind of Elrond's fault. I mean, he was right there with Isildur on Mount Doom when he had the Ring of Sauron. He could have pushed Isildur off and into the fire, along with the Ring, but he just stood there as he walked away with the Ring.

Honestly, with Genndy Tartakovsky's style of storytelling, I think he could capture the emotion of Berserk pretty well, especially the character of Guts. Although, we may have to see some demos from him first.

When you think about it, Afro Samurai is kinda the villain of his own story. Sure, he wants to avenge his dad, but he goes around killing people for a headband. He even killed his master, who tried to stop him. He could've thrown them away, like he did in the game… but NOOOOOOO!

You know what I think makes Super Mario Galaxy so special? It has a dark, gloomy and lonely outer space atmosphere, a beautifully tragic story, and a wonderful soundtrack. Although, to me, all of it is a bit overshadowed by the, uh… cartoony sound effects. Not that I'm complaining. I guess it kind of adds to the charm of the game.
