‪And when I say industrial, I mean like in the style of Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Static-X, etc.‬

I think another cool genre to bring back would be the D&B/Jungle kind of vibes consistent through a lot of 5th-gen games. (Best example probably being Bomberman Hero!)

Late 5th-gen and early 6th-gen games seemed to have a lot of D&B/Jungle music and most 6th-gen games seemed to have had a lot of industrial and techno.

Oh! And Big Beat/Breakbeat should also be brought back in video game music.

And I forgot: Jazz Fusion, Smooth Jazz, R&B/G-Funk, 90s/Early 2000s-style House, Trance, Eurodance, Eurobeat, and many, MANY other music genres

I think street fighter 6 is the only game I know with Jazz

Edit: Can't think of a single game with smooth Jazz

Street fighter 6's soundtrack is very unique. I like it, but I think I'll wait until its finished to play.

Also, what about Street Fighter III (New Generation, 2nd Impact, and 3rd Strike) and Marvel VS Capcom 2?
