I would like to rescind my vote for Vermanubis and change it to MJG due to Verm's bad grammar.

it's Mink and I, not Mink and Me

"For" marks the accusative case, which turns the nominative "I" into the accusative "me."

Think about it! Which sounds better?

"Things started off strong for I"
"Things started off strong for me"

Though the I/me thing BG mentioned was incorrect, wasn't it still grammatically incorrect because "Started off strong for Mink and me" is a sentence fragment?
