    King K. Rool is a less a "love to hate" villain and more a "hate to love" villain, which I guess applies to most villains in light-hearted or comic franchises.

    I don't even hate Activision, but I can't help but find them using a Cold War themed game to tie in with Papa John's and Sky Broadband a little insensitive.

    I just realised the Spooky Scary Skeletons song sings "sticks and stones may break your bones, they seldom let you snooze" - I always thought they were singing "sticks and stones may break your bones, they sell them let you snooze", implying the skeletons were holding some sort of bone trafficking ring.

    I understand the absence of Waluigi in Luigi's Mansion 3 - he's more Luigi's Wario, whereas King Boo is Luigi's Bowser, but the absence of Daisy is kinda absurd.

    It's a shame they changed DK's Final Smash, his old one was one of the VERY few times DK actually acted in character in Smash.

    Also it's funny how both DK Final Smashes are based on bongo games.

    For the longest time I thought Boogie2988 was a satire channel. I'm not trying to fat shame but his physical appearance lines up with the "slobby middle-aged gamer" stereotype so well I genuinely thought he was in a fat suit, which wasn't made any better by his extremely ridiculous actions and bad takes. It was when he released his genuine Iwata tribute that made me realise... oh god, this guy's serious.

    His Francis character is his fat, middle aged slob of a gamer satire and he was, for a time, not a total cringe fest when he was being himself outside of that character. Though over the years his more true self has become more public. I feel for the guy for the rough things he has experienced when he was younger. I get it, I had a very unhealthy childhood. But it's how we play the hand we're dealt that matters in the end.

    Yeah if he is doing that really nasally voice it's Francis (He usually starts the video with "Hey guys, it's Francis". When he talks normal and tries to have a normal video about a topic then he is not in character.

    I don't get why Melee fans find it so hard to admit wavedashing is a glitch. It is undeniably a glitch, that doesn't make it any more or less of a valid competitive technique. If Mario 64 fans can own the fact BLJ is a glitch, why can't Melee fans say the same for wavedashing?

    Looking into this Fortnite rumour, it's likely just Travis Touchdown all over again, whether that be a Mii costume or Spirit event. I wouldn't be opposed to Jonesy though.

    Would the playable Fortnite rep only be Jonesy though? Maybe we'd get an alt costume situation where we get 4 playable characters with a color swap or 8 different characters with their own names? I wouldn't mind Fortnite content in Smash as long as I can play Penny, Peely, and that character with a cat head.

    EDIT: Oh and another thing, would Sakurai have to recode the game so the building mechanic works on every stage again? That sounds like a nightmare tbh. Unless, assuming Fortnite characters are coming as DLC, Sakurai and his team probably worked on the building mechanics of Jonesy and Steve at the same time and the building mechanic functions very similar to each other (with some little differences for Jonesy's building like rotating parts). I mean as far as cutting corners I believe this would be a good way of saving time for creating two builder characters together in the same Fighters Pass.

    Definitely take it with a grain of salt. Don't automatically assume he's making it in, but don't assume he's automatically doomed to being a Mii costume either. Though his chances of making it into the game have definitely increased.

    They only owe relative to how much you spent on the products. I think the base game price and DLC prices have more than met that mark. They don't owe any more or less in these regards.

    You could make the argument that the £18 a year for online is priced correctly relative to what they give and what other companies offer for different prices. But it's not, at least if you aren't a huge 80s or 90s video game fan.

    So people who say Nintendo doesn't owe us anything are wrong, they just don't owe us any more except for the damn online.

    If they sell 6 mystery characters for 20$, its your choice to take the risk. But it doesn't mean they owe you your most wanted specifically, especially when everyone has different taste.

    That said I'm not a huge fan of them selling a product without telling you what it is first. I don't see why Nintendo has to always be so secretive about basically everything.

    Terry is probably the one character who benefitted from being leaked the most - younger fans becoming familiar with the character through rumours and speculation basically saved him from causing immense drama. Sans also helped.

    This is exactly why i don't mind actual leaks. It gives me the opportunity to imagine them and accept the idea instead of beign hit right in the face from it. Surprise shock be damned.

    Also as a Simon Fanboy you bet your ass it made my anticipation for Ultimate much more stronger once rumors and leaks started popping up, i was happy he was beign talked about for once.

    When I make descriptions for Global Smash Roster, usually characters with long histories, developed personalities or generally something interesting to say about them tend to get super short descriptions, while characters nobody cares about tend to have extremely long descriptions. I had to half my description for Rilla Roo because it was too long, while my Jill (Drill Dozer) description is just 38 or so words long.
