I can't really relate to the "WiFi goes down one peg" meme because in the UK WiFi as a whole is so bad that it going UP one peg means it will be drastically worse.
If you ask me the best choice to make a Mario movie would've been Aardman - they work wonders with silent characters and Mario characters aren't particularly known for their diction. Plus most Mario characters (sans the princesses) already look quite like Aardman characters as is with their big noses and ears - it'd be pretty cute to see the princesses temporarily redesigned in a style closer to Mario and Luigi. Aardman's British flair could also bring Mario back to his Wonderlandian roots.

I wonder why they didn't bring back Banjo for Diddy Kong Racing DS... I understand the lack of Conker, that should go without saying, but wouldn't it have made sense to include Banjo to promote Nuts and Bolts?

I think I've found the biggest anomaly on YouTube, I literally cannot find any context for this. Like, it actually sounds like Tom Kenny is singing a song loosely related to Obama's victory in 2008. I tried to post a fake leak to 4Chan to test if I can get on Blocked Content or LaxChris (and possibly get people to take the idea of Space Invader in Smash seriously), but incognito mode is apparently blocked on there.

The so-called "scary part" in A Hat in Time (Queen Vanessa's Mansion) isn't really that scary. I was expecting it to be the sort of horror that would bump up the age rating, but no, not really.

Even as somebody who grew up with them, I have no clue why people hold the Drawn to Life games in such high regard. They're just alright customisable platformers with a super-weird ending - not "the greatest game series of all time".

Turok is probably the only non-game franchise viable for Smash representation given a large portion more people know it as a games franchise than a comics franchise.
I feel like we're finally seeing the consequences of Sakurai slacking on Sonic. If any character needs a revamp, it's the blue blur. I don't know if character retools through updates are even possible, but if they were Sonic would be my first choice.
Me and a friend have a sort of fanfiction multiverse featuring all sorts of characters and AU variants of them - there's zombies, living dolls, gorgons, sapient clothing, all sorts of characters who could go to any multiverse they wish - yet the stories we write have really mundane plots - the most recent one I wrote was about a character laughing at the McDonald's bag saying "McD on AIDS"

A sure-fire way to make sure nobody will take your "call-out" YouTube video seriously is if you put blood in the thumbnail even through the person you're "calling out" hasn't committed any acts of violence.
One thing I find strange about DK's representation in Smash is that DK himself is treated way too seriously, with the constant angry face and realistic gorilla noises, but music and stage-wise the series is treated as way too silly, with barely any indication of the melancholic tone of the DKC games outside of like, two music tracks. (Stickerbush and Cacophony)

Most Mario Maker 2 "troll" levels are more just puzzle levels where you die a lot than anything else. It'd be fun to have a full game in that style with a Celeste-esque death system.
