I think non-game Mii costumes would be a great compromise - Sakurai has stated that he added Miis for fans who want to play as characters such as Goku and SpongeBob and it would probably have to go through less approval from the license holders
I'm hoping Waluigi will be part of the second wave of DLC, but since Sakurai said something about expanding the amount of game worlds featured, I doubt it.
I just got Spyro Reignited. I spent ages looking for a MicroSD card as I decided to buy the download version instead of the physical version due to most of the content being downloadable anyway. 2 hours to go!

I can find those cards in Best Buy, if that helps.

    1. I managed to get a card, and 2. I live in the UK, we don't have Best Buy.

Oof, never mind that then. Well, in that case I hope you got free Internet or reasonable net consumption billing.
First Soulja Boy selling bootleg game consoles, now Shaq refusing to pay animators - I'm expecting it to go full circle with Gabe Newell stealing music and Seth MacFarlane selling basketball players steroids.

that was a joke. don't take it seriously.
I've played Bubsy Paws on Fire (a game I brought yesterday) for longer both total and in a single play session than Freedom Planet (a game I brought two months ago). is this something I should get checked?
if you ask me, both SpongeBob movies are equally as good - that being said, I do not have high hopes for Wonderful Sponge. well, I have high hopes for the soundtrack since Hans Zimmer is doing it, but other than that very low hopes.

I'm excited for the art~style (looks like it'll be a mix of the CGI found in Sponge Outta Water and an aesthetic resembling that of Claymation) but the plot is failing to entice me.

I agree SOOW is nice but the first one gets boring after you've watched it more than about 3 times. With the current state of the Spongebob fanbase, though, it may be an easy pass on this
I'm normally not one to get upset over ships, but SonAmy kinda annoys me because of how it defies what is basically Amy Rose's only notable character trait.
there's a lot of PS2-era licensed games that could do with remakes. Simpsons: Hit and Run, Chicken Little and Shrek SuperSlam come to mind - I'd say Simpsons is probably the most likely of the 3 to get a remake because of fan demand, while Chicken Little is the least likely given that as a movie Chicken Little isn't a particularly iconic, beloved or high-priority Disney brand.
I honestly think Untitled Goose could have a really good Smash moveset. that being said, with all the financial hoops you have to go through to get 3rd party characters in Smash, the development hoops you have to go through to get ANY character in Smash AND the high expectations the Smash community has for 3rd party and indie characters, it'd probably be a waste overall.
Why do all the Disney movies with black leads have them turning into small green creatures? I mean it's obviously a coincidence but it's still a weird one.

I can only think of Princess and the Frog. What other movies are you thinking of?

Soul, a movie that's coming out next year.

OK, yeah, there's only two, this was just a silly observation, not supposed to be some sort of in-depth critique of Disney's practices.

Soul? *researches the movie* Why have I not been informed about this movie until now? XD Looks interesting
Bubsy: Paws on Fire is good if you like simple, repetitive 80s-arcade-esque games, which I do personally (through I would prefer more variety) - it's fun, but nothing more. not worth the £25, but I don't regret my purr-chase either
I brought Bubsy: Paws on Fire and I'm going to get Untitled Goose Game.

if I can get a bigger microSD I might buy Spyro Reignited.
if they actually added Shaggy to Smash, I'd be a little disappointed with Sakurai choosing a meme as well as a character who isn't even the main focus of their media of origin as their first "fourth party" character, but I'd be cool with it if It's Terror Time Again was a music track on a Scooby-related stage.

To be fair, Shag is still considered an anime character in Japan, since all animation is called that over there. No likelier than Goku. Heck, not even Boone caved in.

Terror Time Again is ****ing godlike.
it's really lucky for the Smash franchise that Pokemon proved to be more than a fad. can you imagine if Pokemon never made it past Gen 1 or 2, was forgotten and/or became a laughing stock like Pogs or Tamagotchi, and the Smash series would be mocked constantly for the inclusion of Pikachu and Jigglypuff?
Do you ever have those moments where you want to post something, forget what it is and spend the rest of the day trying to remember what profound message you wanted to put along, but then right as you're about to go to sleep you remember that it was "Gangster's Parrot Dies"
I don't get why Smash has a composite Donkey Kong but Links based on a single game per game.
    Wigglerman
    Wigglerman
Probably because DK looks virtually the same every game he is in. Link looks different in virtually every game he is in and they like to make him look like the most current Link at the time of the game being made. Lots of Links. DK is DK in all time lines and you can't change perfection.

The true Donkey Kong was sentenced to death via Coconut Gun and the modern DK is actually Swanky in a rubber monkey suit. Fake fan SMH.

And besides, the original DK's an old guy, so if anything he's one half of a decomposite.

Meanwhile Snake is Solid with Big Boss' beard.
I remember when I first played Smash I was such a Nintendo noob I didn't even know who Kirby is.

now, I'm so immersed in my weird Nintendo world I act surprised when people IRL tell me they've never heard of Sutte Hakkun.

Ok, now i need to look this up. This sounds too hilarious. And this is a Nintendo character? Because I thought I knew a lot of nintendo's vague content XD.

he appeared in his own game on the Sattelaview - it's a fun but very hard 3D platformer. he has a Spirit in Ultimate. fun fact: Sutte Hakkun also got a cartridge release on SNES... in 1999.

I will say, Professor Fandango on DA is an encyclopedia for peculiar Nintendo characters. He's one of the few people in the world who'd like to see a kangaroo mascot for Nintendo toys playable, for example.
I'm playing the fan translation of Frog For Whom The Bell Tolls and it's full of British slang for some reason - I'm guessing because it's a game about kingdoms? either way, I'm not complaining
