I'm going to be taking a pretty big hiatus from my own creation threads, mostly because I feel like my creative juices thrive more in the "Remaking Smash" thread.
What if characters had their own personal stages in Melee?
I originally described these as "home stages", but then I realized that it wasn't specific enough. You guys know how in older fighting games, each character had their own unique stage specific to them? Same idea here. If Melee's characters had stages specific to them, which ones would you pick...

My mother and I just went to the funeral for her cousin, who sadly passed away last Tuesday. I never got to know him, but I went to the funeral anyway out of respect. It made me think about how precious life is, even if you don’t know someone that well.
Kinda sucks to be the guy to die before you even get to meet your cousin’s family. May he rest in peace.

With how much Elon changes his mind on EVERYTHING he says Twitter is going to have, hopefully the rebrand is the next thing to go.
If a Sora amiibo is development (hopium on my end), I could see it being announced in this year’s September Direct.
I just got done watching a playthrough of FE Engage and it gave me inspiration for how Alear can get around the Engage mechanic without having to depend on other FE characters: Alear themselves becomes an Emblem near the end of the game, so in that case they can do the Engage mechanic wthout another Emblem present.
Ever since I first watched an episode of Wha Happun, I knew this would eventually be an episode.

Personally, I like that they added more diversity from across the series and even Mario-adjacent series, but my only criticism is the absence of Nintendo guests.
Random thought: if Project X Zone 3 were to happen, how likely do you think it is that Monolith Soft will shift to 3D for relatively easier development, partially so they can re-use assets from other games?
What if SSBU had a 25th anniversary rerelease?
Let's say Nintendo's next console came out in, say, 2024, and Smash Ultimate got a rerelease (with all the DLC on the cartridge or disc) to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary. What new content would you add to the rerelease? For me:

If, hypothetically, a new Nintendo console was coming out in 2024, I think an SSBU Deluxe with 11 new fighters and other new content would be a great game for it to celebrate Smash’s 25th anniversary.

I think one mode I’d like to see in the next Smash game is something closer to Mario Party where you roll a number, advance on the stage select depending on the number, and play a minigame. Basically, Smash Tour if it didn’t suck.
What Switch-era characters would you like to see in the next Smash? For me:

I just realized; outside of Zero Suit Samus originally being a transformation of regular Samus, SSBB doesn’t have a single unambiguously female newcomer.
Tonight I just discovered by accident that you can manually convert a WEBP into a PNG by just typing ".png" at the end and suddenly my life become a million times easier.
If Rayman was in Sm4sh, I could see Fiesta de los Muertos as his stage in the Wii U version, and Snoring Tree as his stage in the 3DS version.
After thinking about it, I think in theory a magic-only Robin could work if his moveset was (for lack of a better term) more carefully designed with this idea in mind.

On one hand, after seeing footage of Pizza Tower from other people playing it, Peppino sounds like he’d be a fun playable character in Smash. On the other hand, Pizza Tower’s aesthetic is so fluid that accurately translating it to Smash would be and some would say it’s easier to use Peppino as a Spirit with a new remix of Pizza Time and call it a day.

IIRC, there were unused animations in Melee of Sheik playing her harp, right? Well, I think a good way to use that as a Final Smash is having the song Sheik plays paralyze every opponent on screen and then launch them with knockback depending on how close opponents are to Sheik.
I think I’m starting to have slight traces of bisexuality. Specifically, when I get into dating, I’m pretty open to a partner who’s either male or female.

If Caddicarus ever does a video on Spider-Man games, I want the running gag to be Spider-Man 2099 stalking him because playing Spider-Man games is supposed to be Caddy’s canon event.

Something that’s been bothering me about Clash of Super Heroes is how it handles clones. Roll is the moveset clone who isn’t just a glorified palette swap with moveset difference. Even Lilith, who even appears in some of Morrigan’s attacks, is just a palette swap of Morrigan as a playable character (though I will admit, the cutscenes explaining why are hilarious).
I know dev time and resources are, unlike the Stones, finite (along with copyright being “no-fun allowed” like always, which was the reason War Machine made it over Iron Man), but I still feel like if those weren’t issues, Clash of Super Heroes should’ve done more with the clones. Probably something like:
1. Carnage (clone of Venom with some of Spidey’s moves, namely a Maximum Spider reskin dubbed “Maximum Carnage “)
2. Roll (clone of Mega Man)
3. The Thing (clone of Hulk)
4. Shadow Lady (clone of Chun-Li)
5. War Machine (clone of Iron Man, assuming there was no copyright nonsense involved and Iron Man was a character playable from the start)
6. Lilith (all you’d need to do is lift her moveset and animations right out of Vampire Savior, Showtime super and all; they already have it to re-use, so in my mind why not just go all the way?)
And on a side note, I’d add Magneto to the Marvel side (since Clash of Super Heroes was based on the Onslaught storyline) for an even 16 starting characters and 6 hidden characters.

While I do love the later games’ music as is, I do admittedly wish Yoko Shimomura was involved with Xenoblade after the first game. -
