Not a particularly good take, imo. The game feels more like an actual labor of love than one that was lazily thrown together by far.

Sure, there's some gamemodes and content that feel missing, but it's still the biggest and grandest game in the series thus far. I can live without Boss Rush or Smash Run modes in Ultimate, as fun as they'd be to see in the game proper.

Gotta agree with King Of Phantoms. It may lack a Boss Rush, Smash Run or Subspace-style Gameplay story mode, but the good does outweight the bad imo and Smash Ultimate is a perfect game to play with friends and smaller family members.
