I know this is a pretty tired discussion, but heck with it. If they were to do a Smash Ultimate Deluxe and they had 11 newcomers to reach 100 fighters, who would you guys pick? Keep in mind, I’m counting Fighters #1-#82 plus the seven Echo Fighters, totalling up to about 89 fighters. As for my 11 newcomers:

I was brainstorming potential candidates to appear in Super Robot Wars and when I googled “Dr. Eggman in Super Robot Wars”, I was surprised to not see any threads actually…suggesting him in any capacity. I guess it’s because the Sonic franchise’s never been that popular in Japan, but even then, the complete lack of anyone suggesting Eggman for SRW surprises me.
I still don’t forgive Age of Calamity for lying about the story

I know Thorgi said he wouldn’t do Project X Zone 3 but if he did, I’d like to lay down some ground rules / ideal numbers:
1). Only characters owned by Namco, Capcom, SEGA and Nintendo (though they don’t have to be strictly characters created by those companies). Cross-company Pair Units are allowed.
2). The number of characters should be more than PxZ 1 and 2, but not too much more
3). Characters from Namco x Capcom, PxZ1 and PxZ2 are fair game to return
4). PxZ1 and PxZ2 all used human or human-looking characters, so this roster would be built with that in mind (so sadly, no Mario, Sonic, PAC-MAN or even Klonoa here)
5). The ideal number of playable characters should be 24 Pair Units (6 from Namco, 6 from Capcom, 6 from SEGA, 3 from Nintendo, and 3 mixed pairs) and 24 Solo Units (7 from Namco, 7 from Capcom, 7 from SEGA and 3 from Nintendo
6). Namco x Capcom had 5 prologue chapters and 45 main story chapters, so that would be the ideal number of chapters for this hypothetical game

Assuming the FE4 remake leaks are real, I really hope Hidari comes back as the artist because I think he strikes the perfect balance between classic Fire Emblem and modern Fire Emblem in terms of character design.

You know, nothing stinks more than an antagonist who looks like a fallen protagonist, only to not actually be them at all.
I got bored and decided to compile a list of playable characters in Project X Zone 1 who didn’t Return in Project X Zone 2, as well as what I’d do with some characters if they did return (denoted by bold):
- Alisa Bosconovitch
- Arthur
- Bahn
- Batsu
- BlackRose (Solo Unit)
- Bruno
- Toma & Cyrille
- Devilotte
- Frank West & Hsien-Ko (Frank, I’d pair with Chuck Greene)
- Haken & Kaguya
- Sänger Zonvolt (these three didn’t return because Moon Dwellers is a thing; if any of them did, I’d pair Sänger and Haken)
- Kurt, Riela & Imca (Selvaria Bles was a Rival Unit; if she returned, I’d make her a Rival Unit who joins you later as a Solo Unit)
- Mii & Kogoro (though they do get a passing mention in the story)
- Lady
- Soma & Lindow
- Neneko / Neito
- Rikiya
- Tron Bonne & Servbots
I just learned that the reason why there’s no SRW characters in Project X Zone 2 is because Haken accidentally transported himself to the OG universe and is trapped there during Moon Dwellers. Is there any way for him and Sänger to have been a Pair Unit in PxZ2 or nah?

- Toon Link: A route with a team of 4 Toon Links fighting another team of 4 opponents, with Ganon as the Final Round boss
- Wii Fit Trainer: Bowser/Giga Bowser as the Final Round boss
- Little Mac: A route more closely based on the Punch-Out games
- Mii Fighters: A route about fighting opponents based on the three Mii Fighter classes
- Robin: A route about fighitng opponents based on Robin's tomes
- Cloud: A route about fighting Sm4sh's DLC characters
- Richter: Crazy Hand as the Final Round boss, following a battle against Simon
- King K. Rool: A route about fighting protagonists with the help of fellow villains
- Joker: A route about fighting characters based on the seven deadly sins
- Hero: A route about fighting characters from JRPG's
- Banjo-Kazooie: A route about notable appearances on the N64, with Ganon as the Final Round boss
- Byleth: A route referencing Fire Emblem gameplay mechanics
- Min Min: A route about fighters with slowly increasing range each round, with Galleom as the Final Round boss
- Steve: A route about fighting every 3rd party character in the base game
- Sephiroth: A route referencing the first 7 Final Fantasy games, with Marx as the Round 6 boss and Cloud as the last opponent
- Pyra / Mythra: A route referencing the Xeno games
- Sora: A route where you fight every character in the base game

I will admit Lucas seems a little forced, even though it makes since in context, but he and Sonic are definitely a welcome surprise.
It's actually unbelievable how well Xenoblade music goes with scenes from Dragon Ball Z.
Can I be totally honest with you guys?
I initially supported Trump during the 2016 election because I was an impressionable 15 year old who didn’t know any better at the time. I feel like I’m partially to blame for America becoming so much worse since Trump became president because of that. I want to say none of this downward spiraling would’ve happened if Trump was never president, but I honestly don’t know how much better or worse America would’ve been depending on the president. But I can say one thing: 2020 in particular opened my eyes to how terrible someone can be, especially someone like Trump.
Okay, Imma go on Steam and play the new Sonic game

Redesigning Custom Moves
Custom Moves were a good idea on paper, but their execution in Sm4sh leaves…much to be desired, to put it lightly. So I made this thread for the sake of giving fighters Custom Moves that are more faithful to their canon appearance while not deviating too much from their appearance in Smash Bros...
