I know Thorgi said he wouldn’t do Project X Zone 3 but if he did, I’d like to lay down some ground rules / ideal numbers:
1). Only characters owned by Namco, Capcom, SEGA and Nintendo (though they don’t have to be strictly characters created by those companies). Cross-company Pair Units are allowed.
2). The number of characters should be more than PxZ 1 and 2, but not too much more
3). Characters from Namco x Capcom, PxZ1 and PxZ2 are fair game to return
4). PxZ1 and PxZ2 all used human or human-looking characters, so this roster would be built with that in mind (so sadly, no Mario, Sonic, PAC-MAN or even Klonoa here)
5). The ideal number of playable characters should be 24 Pair Units (6 from Namco, 6 from Capcom, 6 from SEGA, 3 from Nintendo, and 3 mixed pairs) and 24 Solo Units (7 from Namco, 7 from Capcom, 7 from SEGA and 3 from Nintendo
6). Namco x Capcom had 5 prologue chapters and 45 main story chapters, so that would be the ideal number of chapters for this hypothetical game

Assuming the FE4 remake leaks are real, I really hope Hidari comes back as the artist because I think he strikes the perfect balance between classic Fire Emblem and modern Fire Emblem in terms of character design.

You know, nothing stinks more than an antagonist who looks like a fallen protagonist, only to not actually be them at all.
I got bored and decided to compile a list of playable characters in Project X Zone 1 who didn’t Return in Project X Zone 2, as well as what I’d do with some characters if they did return (denoted by bold):
- Alisa Bosconovitch
- Arthur
- Bahn
- Batsu
- BlackRose (Solo Unit)
- Bruno
- Toma & Cyrille
- Devilotte
- Frank West & Hsien-Ko (Frank, I’d pair with Chuck Greene)
- Haken & Kaguya
- Sänger Zonvolt (these three didn’t return because Moon Dwellers is a thing; if any of them did, I’d pair Sänger and Haken)
- Kurt, Riela & Imca (Selvaria Bles was a Rival Unit; if she returned, I’d make her a Rival Unit who joins you later as a Solo Unit)
- Mii & Kogoro (though they do get a passing mention in the story)
- Lady
- Soma & Lindow
- Neneko / Neito

- Tron Bonne & Servbots
I just learned that the reason why there’s no SRW characters in Project X Zone 2 is because Haken accidentally transported himself to the OG universe and is trapped there during Moon Dwellers. Is there any way for him and Sänger to have been a Pair Unit in PxZ2 or nah?

Can I be totally honest with you guys?
I initially supported Trump during the 2016 election because I was an impressionable 15 year old who didn’t know any better at the time. I feel like I’m partially to blame for America becoming so much worse since Trump became president because of that. I want to say none of this downward spiraling would’ve happened if Trump was never president, but I honestly don’t know how much better or worse America would’ve been depending on the president. But I can say one thing: 2020 in particular opened my eyes to how terrible someone can be, especially someone like Trump.

In my opinion, the Pokémon Trainer’s Pokémon in Smash should’ve been Totodile (1st stage Water starter), Grovyle (2nd stage Grass Starter) and Charizard (TPC’s other pride and joy). It would probably even pertain to the Evolution-esque sorting while providing some more variety across generations.
