I don't get why people think corporations hold long-standing grudges against other corporations. No, a near-30-year-old Super Bowl advert where a guy in a cheap Sweet Tooth costume throws a Pikachu plushie into a woodchipper doesn't factor in to why Kratos isn't in Smash.

I had a dream where BBC News started doing classic Mr. Enter-style angry reviews of bad SpongeBob episodes in hopes of recapturing the internet-bound youth audience.
I love how low key (tonally, not musically) the credits theme of Luigi's Mansion 1 is, it gives me less of the "you're the ultimate hero! woo! let's celebrate, peace and prosperity are here!" vibe that I get from most Mario credits, and more of a "life's back to normal, let's go back home and get dinner." vibe, which has always been a more rewarding style of ending to me.
I feel if Smash was to go back to Nintendo All-Stars, it shouldn't have third parties - full stop. Not even Banjo, Geno, Mega Man, Rabbids, e.t.c.
I know I kinda did this joke yesterday with my Ghibli and Disney post, but imagine if people talked about other corporate partnerships the way they talk about Nintendo and Rare

I found the "Sonic spawns two Flickies" video and it's honestly not that offensive besides the flickies thing? The worst idea other than the flickies was really the idea of grinding as a dash attack, which even then is good in concept but would look super awkward without NASB-style hammerspace shenanigans - the take on light speed dash was a bit poorly thought out but could very easily be made better fit for Sonic's archetype, and the up tilt change feels counter intuitive to Sonic being the fast character but even then is a negligable change even by Smash's standards of set-in-stone movesets. I've seen worse moveset changes overall in the actual Smash games.
I kinda wish I put Biffo the Bear in my Beano submission for DriDim - he probably hasn't been a recurring feature of the comic for over half a century at this point and is honestly just an unmemorable Mickey clone, but just look at this face.

I'm honestly surprised nobody has submitted any of the famous kids' anime like Anpanman or Doraemon to the current DriDim job - those were the specific IPs I was expecting and had in mind when I came up with the job.

I love items-on play, but I have never got the appeal of Final Smashes. 3DS, Wii U, and Ultimate hand them out like candy on Halloween, and they're almost entirely cutscenes rather than actual interactive elements - even before the big FS interactivity purges in 3DS and Ultimate.

The new AVGN episodes are terrible, but less in a frustraiting way and more a mind-numbing way. He can't swear or crap all over the place so he just repeats facts Guru Larry told everyone 5 years ago in a tone of voice that makes them sound like jokes. (though TBF that's what most of my statuses are too)
