People who say that Nintendo is planning something huge after March, when 3D All-Stars and Fire Emblem aren’t available anymore are just going to be disappointed when they’re proven wrong
It’s always bugged me when people say Sonic has way too many moves based on Sonic the Fighters, then make an “updated” moveset where half the moves are based on Sonic Battle.
Like, you literally JUST complained about Sonic having too many moves from a weird fighting game barely anybody knows
You can support who you want to support for Smash, but some people are living in a fantasy world when it comes to who they realistically want to get in
I like how when you look up “context behind” on YouTube, the first autofill is “context behind no pomegranates” guess a lot of people were confused by that, huh?
If Untitled Goose Game was actually titled “Some Like it Honk,” it would join Thems Fightin’ Herds in the “Indie game with a title that’s a really forced, awkward animal-based pun” club

If there’s one thing on this earth I hate more than anything, it’s “iceberg explained” videos that barely give any explanation for each topic on the iceberg image

One one I saw my little cousin playing some weird Halloween-themed RPG game on their Xbox. All I remembered from seeing them was that it had a cel-shaded artstyle, and the game actually kind of looked pretty good.
That day I never learned what it was called, so I thought that game would be my moby ****. I’d spend years of my life in pursuit of this game. I’d chase the title of this game so that maybe, just maybe I’d be able to play it one day...
... two seconds of googling and I find it’s called costume quest 2... Well that was anticlimactic

I absolutely hate thinking about what Smash 6 is gonna be like. It’s at the point where I kind of want Ultimate to be the last Smash game for at least 15 years, except for maybe a spin-off or two before Smash 6
Sure, weird and wacky third party characters would be amazing, but characters who actually you know... make sense in Smash, should be first
The amount of people who will immediately call someone spoiled and toxic just for being disappointed at a certain character is way too high.
Especially if they ignore any reasons the person may have for being disappointed. If it’s a flawed reason which makes no sense, then yes they are spoiled and toxic, but if it’s just their opinion, no theyre probably not
As a kid my daycare has always had this weird nostalgic smell I haven’t smelled other places... Recently I realized that smell was a combination of food burning and cigarettes... and I don’t know how to feel about that...
(In case you’re wondering how I found out, it wasn’t any event in particular, I just remembered what the smell was like and realized what that meant)

If they added Waluigi and made his series logo the one from the Mario games instead of Wario’s series logo it might look slightly weird and inconsistent. But if the Smash team really cared about their game looking weird and inconsistent we wouldn’t have so many FE characters and three Link’s
I don’t get why people are theorizing that there aren’t any original Minecraft game tracks in Smash due to copyright. Sakurai already gave us a perfectly good reason for their absence and it dosent make much sense to think that he would just lie to us. Besides, why would there even be any copyright issues if Steve’s already in the game?
I like to write stories, and it’s pretty funny listing off what other things inspired one particular story to other people. Like, this one story I wrote was somehow inspired by One Piece, The Simpsons, The Truman Show and Jojo Rabbit all at the same time

Apparently there's something going on with all kinds of character categories on Google Search. "Sonic characters" gets you Alex Kidd, Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic the Hedgehog. And of course, the aforementioned "Boss".

Nintendo should really rerelease Duck Hunt for NES online, with the Switch pointer like Galaxy on Switch. They did it for the Wii U virtual console so I don’t be see why it would be too much of a hassle for them

I don’t think Nintendo was intentionally trying to use FOMO as a marketing tactic, it just seems like they actually took no issue with having content that’s just for a game’s anniversary, which is a very flawed mindset
Legacy content should be treated by game companies as a way of preserving their games, not as just a special treat for the fans
I hate when people say “If you’re bored, it means you’re not smart enough to find something to do.”
Not only is that insulting people for absolutely no reason, it’s also invalidating people who might just be bored because they’re by depressed
Nintendo uploaded a video that just says “Your next chapter awaits on Nintendo Switch” with Super Mario Odyssey on the thumbnail. I actually thought it would be DLC for odyssey or at least some new content about Mario Odyssey but nope, turns out it’s just a generic advertisement for Mario Odyssey. Nintendo is the master of making announcements/ads that look exciting but just turn out to be nothing in particular. Just remember the whole Bakugan situation and the first Partner Showcase announcement
If a sequel has menu design and gameplay extremely similar to the first game, they should have different music to make things more interesting. Like what the Ace Attorney sequels do -
