  • Would it have killed them to have made attack-cancel RAR easier to pull off?

Attack cancled tech clearly wasn't intentional, its just a side effect of poor programming on the C-stick.
That feeling when someone called you "free" six months ago and you still can't get over it....
I just love being told that a game I'm trying to learn and improve at doesn't take "skill." It honestly discourages me sometimes. It's even worse hearing it from someone who plays another Smash game.

It feels like I've started having to defend Ultimate more lately. It's hurt my enjoyment of the whole thing.

"Winning in Smash Online doesn't mean anything, it only counts if you play offline. Everyone in Elite Smash sucks."

The best way to avoid hurt feelings: Everyone abstain from using disrespectful language, and do not use universal language such as '...everyone knows...' To say that a game does not take skill would be insensitive, and quite likely, would not be true.

Either start choosing to NOT care what people think even if it's true, make peace with it if it is true or play something else.
I got into competitive Smash way too late.

Nah you cant really get in "too late". Because there will always be people of your skill level to play with.

Technically, most people have since the only true competitive Smash scene and group is the Melee scene. You can't be a true Smash master without knowing how to wavedash with all the characters in Melee. :4pacman:
I thought I was going to get the chance to commentate a set featuring a PGR-ranked player....

    And then that player no-showed.
What I'm hearing so far about viability for Sephiroth is not making me feel optimistic. If I find out he's bad after the hype I felt for him....

from what I've seen after the few i've faced online(since I won't bother buying this DLC until someone I like actually gets in...)....

Well....I got bad news for ya....he's slow as molasses with almost all his moves. Sure they all hit hard, but every last one of them feels so easily punishable, that even GANONDORF of all characters, seems to be able to capitalize on him.

If you like him, you'll go for it. I had to face a similiar dilemma during the two week wait until Byleth came out. I really liked them, but I was also worried they'd be extremely slow... thankfully, months later, I stand a proud Byleth main.

From what I've seen, I feel the same way about Sephiroth (also checked potential frame data). It's no surprise to me, given his massive hitboxes and general kill power.
Commentated my first streams for the Smash Crew Server, two streams back-to-back. Considering there are folks always looking for streamers over there, I have a feeling I'm gonna be pretty active.
I love pinging friendlies in Discord so I can practice my Wario, and the person who responds is a Bayo main who proceeds to not let me play the game.

    The session didn't last long.
Now I want to play FF7, even though I've only got the original version.

From what I've heard it's best to play the OG version first and then play the Remake after.
I didn't think I was going to be this hyped by the reveal. I honestly expect to either be disappointed, or even end up hating whoever got revealed.
Swear to God, if "L's" were a currency, I'd be able to retire. Been collecting them all night.

It's funny you said that because my late grandpa once said something like "If we could make a dollar off of dog **** we would be rich." Because my grandma has so many dogs at their house that they take care of and clean after. My grandpa died of Cardiac Arrest a few weeks ago and my grandma is there all by herself now. Me and other family members try to check up on her everyday and help her out when we can.
They need a version of Quickplay without GSP. Take it out of the equation so you don't have to worry about losing it.
I've just about had it with every discussion about Smash or the community on the internet being inundated with "lol, pedos." So sick of it.
