Confession, I’ve never actually “beaten” any classic final fantasy games besides one. I got to the final boss in each of them then looked up the ending, personally imma go ahead and consider that sufficent The only final boss I beat was FF2 because the blood sword made it super easy

I really don't get that one meme because I don't think I know of any examples where you can unlock a boss as a playable character and it doesnt feel super badass to play as them
