@Chris - I hate Terran. Against the Zerg, Irradiate is just... so annoying </3 ... Especially with mass Mutalisks I like the music though. I can play it on Guitar! Which brings us back to the Guitarists vs Drummers crew battle, hmm?

Here's my decision.

I am a Victorian first, and Leader of ASSAULT second.
I will select my best troops and fill in whom I think will get the job done well.

The name ASSAULT may stand, but we won't have mercy by just staying low tier. Crush the opposition. At this point in time, my verdict is half of the crew (myself included) to be true ASSAULT soldiers, and the other half the reserves from NSW vs VIC as well as 1 or 2 of my own personal choices.

C-Dog: Unfortunately, they mentioned earlier they are unable to bring TVs, because they are staying in Sunbury and are taking V-Lines instead of driving.

Protoss has reavers...the best unit in the game obviously. Bisu is too good.

jezmo has only gone to qld tourneys as far as I'm aware,
the only other place would be wifi and we all know my opinion on that.

qld really is getting the short end of the stick here, even canberra has it better, whats up with that.

EDIT 1: Oh yeah, theres still some QLDers that can come. But knowing there is nothing for them like that, could sway them to the not going category. We ain't going to be in another crew battles while our friends, brothers, comrades are playing in the Melee crews, we support each other like that.

EDIT 2: Try moving the conversation foward hmm? When did I say Jezmo was QLD, although he has only gone to QLD tournys if I'm not mistaken. Either way hes in the anti-Vic crew.

Why haven't you guys organized anything for 6 months? Not making concrete plans has pretty much led to the current situation for you guys, which is ironic. If people are make late flight plans, how are we supposed to 'plan' for it?

I can't make a QLD crew for you guys if that's what you're wanting - that's something your own state needs the initiative for. However, I am able to open and very happy to match and negotiate any ambitions QLD has about crews and what it wants out of it.

From what I gather so far, QLD is happy to play in a combined team with SA, WA and company, from which QLD constitutes the majority.

We have a spare 2 hour block after Melee crews? I can move Brawl VIC2 vs All-Stars there as appropriate. What I am concerned about is the late running time. Are people going to sit through 3 hours of crews up to 10pm - 11pm? I'm not sure (I know the majority of the hardcore players will stay). There's always a fresh Sunday morning option, but it'll need slight timetable re-jigging, and extra time commitments from people, which is slightly outside of the existing scope.

I welcome you to discuss your options with me instead of just complaining about it. I prefer to organize and discuss instead.

Chris is from both regions, he wants to represent both and I can understand that. Let it go.

Theres plenty of room in the all-start lineup for QLDers especially for brawl because Monkeybear, blackshadow and I are terrible at brawl. The majority of both crews will most likely be QLDers. Who wants to be a part of either crew?

Mmm I dunno, I don't think there will be as much excitement after the first Brawl and Melee Crew battles. Hype for crew battles tend to die down real quick if theirs too much of them and if they don't have their top players in it (Happened @ Lansmash in QLD once) I'd much rather vs/watch VIC's Top players rather then their 2nd bunch of "Top players" vs'ing other Top players.

If we did form a second ASC, most of those players would be from QLD yes? but some of them aren't high up in (or on) the Power rankings, leading to the lack of maximum **** potential. I dunno how much top players the other states have to fill the spots though.

The only thing I'm excited for now is SQUAT crew battles =)

Rocky isn't just crew battles, nor is it just a smash tournament - it's an EXPERIENCE - Like Jimmy Hendrix.

If people are seriously worried about crew battles to the point of not attending just remember its only one aspect of the event...
