LOL yeah it was you against a marth and you had three stocks up on him
good luck with trying to apply plat cancels though, i'll be over here on the EC trying to revolutionize this falco MU @_@
So far I've learned don't pick Frigate... he's good on the edge or in the middle of the second transformation, where it spends most of its time. I might have been doing it wrong though (I probably was but it still doesn't take away his natural advantages there).
Lylat isn't exactly great either since he gets a lot of side b space and space to move back on his lasering. Like Larry doesn't seemed phased by the tilting he just changes his spacing so whatever he's doing works >___> you still have a higher chance of randomly bad stuff happening to him as opposed to it happening to you (same with frigate).
Rainbow could work but you also run the risk of getting MK'd. Delfino is horrible generally favors the Falco (lots of FD spots, playing on the pillars vs a good Falco is not fun) and timing out generally favors Falco, and you can get MK'd. Brinstar is good for DDD but like Delfino,
the threat of the MK secondary alone hurts DDD's metagame T-T
Castle Siege is like side-B galore; DDD can beat side-B but he has trouble against a Falco who uses side-B well... it acts like a faster MK nado in the matchup since DDD is so slow he has trouble punishing it. I did find full hop d-airing vs it isn't bad, but again they can SDI once they get used to it and it puts you in the air that's why you can't use d-air too much or at least in the same situations.
Battlefield is okay but it gives them vertical side b recovery options as well as helping them air chase. I also notice DDD on that stage can easily get knocked from one edge to the other, continuing opponent's edgeguards at high percents... like even if you get b-aird as you climb on stage you just go off stage on the other side and have to deal with the same thing. Meanwhile you can't do the same thing back because you're slower than Falco's recovery.
Smashville is probably my favorite stage for the matchup
more options. Then Lylat. Yoshi's shouldn't be bad either but I lost to Choice the one time I CP'd it so I stopped going to that, but he outplayed me so I don't have a legitimate analysis on that stage.
