I will allow Angry Birds content in EAC, even though the purchase (as far as I can tell) hasn't been made official - ActiBlizz are a different case since there's a lot of legal opposition and a high chance the deal could fall through.

The reason I don't like the idea of Smash being "an epic war between good and evil" and prefer it just being pals hanging out with some weird bloodless bloodsport is honestly really prudish - that a lot of the fighters are kids or non/semi-anthro animals, and the idea of even an anti-hero like Bayonetta - let alone an unambiguous hero-to-all like Sonic or Pac-Man - bludgeoning poor little Toon Link or Yoshi in any context other than a sport is offputting - hell, one of the fighters is literally just a baby animal!

I appreciate the Nintendo logo before the Mario movie not being an epic crossover, but I do not appreciate it using the modern-coloured versions of the SMB1 sprites.
I went to look for the old LloydsTSB ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha advert music, and now my YouTube recommended is nothing but British service hold music.
The one piece of lore I like from Subspace is Mr. Game & Watch having no sense of right or wrong, even though it's just as nonsensical within the limited G&W canon as ROB's backstory is. I like to think the reason why he commits moral actions like keeping zoo lions in cages and rescuing people from a fire is because he finds said acts fun and not any actual moral obligation.
I always assumed that the Star Wars special editions were just a brief little oops that quickly got reversed, a single gimmicky DVD run distinctly labeled as such, and people were overreacting.
Oh no no no no. This is actually a disgrace. They still don't provide the original edits, and fans had to make a high quality version themselves. I 100% understand the fan rage, and if anything people have underreacted.
I don't get the hate for "all a dream/video game/book/movie" endings - like, yeah, if they're used as a way to avoid having a proper ending or they go the edgy coma route it sucks, but I think it can be a really cute framing device, and it ultimately changes nothing about the story's real-ness status.
I think the funniest "blinking twice" moment I've ever seen in a Raid Shadow Legends ad was a YouTuber saying "You know how much I prefer realistic graphics to cartoons!"

I hate to say this but I think Pizza Tower may have actually ruined Sonic for me.
WHY DOES HE LOSE MOMENTUM WHEN HE TURNS.
Wanted to do another EAC series recap, but decided to go for the funny inspect element (I actually used the SmashWiki editor preview function, but inspect element sounds funnier) - I'm honestly surprised by how sensible this is once you remove the funny Simpsons spirits and Regular Show music tracks - sure, there's some wacky stuff here and there, but I could reasonably imagine this part of the Wiki looking a lot like this come a next Smash game. (the only stuff I think is outright unrealistic are Drill Dozer being bumped up to stage status, any new MS IP being prioritized over Halo or Doom, those said 3 MS IPs (even if Halo and Doom were also added) and Club Penguin being present, Digimon going without a fighter, and - of course - no new ATs)
I like to think Desmond doesn't actually drive the car he's in. He just says "How did I get here?" when the race starts and just continues to be idly befuddled regardless of what happens.
How "spare the rod, spoil the child" believers view a literal 5 year old that is asking them for comfort in an overwhelming situation (they're embarassing them in public)

Got a very fun TOP SECRET stage planned for EAC tomorrow.
Someone vandalized the Wikipedia page of a certain commercial character (won't say who since if you checked the edit history you'd find my IP when I reverted the vandalism) to say they were animated by Nickelodeon, and I almost nominated them for NASB RTC before I checked the source.
I guess with the ASDF DriDim drama right now, I should mention that TomSka's modern content is actually really good.
I've probably said this before, but Rayman Legends is the best Smash story mode ever made, I will die on this hill.
They should put a "Hey kids, this is advertising!" disclaimer at the beginning of every Nintendo Direct.
SSBU sure has a lot of bad "7s" doesn't it? 7 frames of input lag, DLC character 7 being busted enough to ban, the whole Geno 7 conspiracy theory, and the game's big selling point just being a pitiful 7 characters.

I had a dream where I was looking on a 90s-era Rugrats fansite, and it got a new host that completely removed all the Rugrats content and replaced it with Micheal Jackson tributes and conspiracy posts about the "Aluminium Glasher", a cryptid that's literally just a guy in a parrot mascot costume made of aluminium who supposedly does vague bad things to children - then after that I went to watch an episode of Futurama which had BMO from Adventure Time as a guest character for some reason, and he started talking about the Aluminium Glasher.
Disney hate is justified, but it really confuses me that people act like Disney became a "bad company" (which is equivalent to saying "bad war" or "bad famine") overnight or they're a greater evil and Paramount/Comcast/Warner Bros/whatever is somehow better

I really love the idea of Smash adding some form of content that is explicitly anti-Nintendo or self-deprecating - like the Game Genie genie mascot as a fighter, a Genesis Does What Nintendon't stage, some kind of sweat reference with an MK fighter, or even just a more open representation of an embarrassing Nintendo moment like the Virtual Boy; CD-i; or weird 90s ads.

Whenever I read people from outside this site talk about the toxic nature of Smash hype culture, they always have the right starting hypothesis - "Smash fans get overly excited for vague character reveal announcements and end up disappointed as a direct result of this, which then leads to cruel defensiveness from those who weren't disappointed" - but come the most inaccurate possible conclusion - "Poor baby Sakurai and his nasty 'fans' breathing down his neck UmU :-(((((".

I've been trying to clear the Board the Platforms with all fighters in Smash Remix, and it's funny how significantly harder it is to clear with JP DK than regular DK. Thought I just got lucky the first time until I looked up 64 DK on SSBWiki and found out his up B was buffed between the Japanese and international versions. -
