I really like how SSBU changed a lot of the 1st party arcade content to reference the original version instead of the NES port.

Literally only two people on the NASB rate their chances thread thus far have watched Rocko.
I have a feeling my experience on this thread will mostly be me knowing nothing about the 2000s shows (bar the super-iconic ones like JN and FOP) and everybody else knowing nothing about the 90s shows.
Even though we can easily point and laugh at stuff like Toxic Crusaders and Little Shop for trying to promote adult franchises to kids now, it made a lot of sense for the time considering how popular the Ninja Turtles cartoon was relative to the content of the original TMNT comics.
Labo-Man strikes me less as "a representative for Labo" and more "a representative for Labo's reveal trailer" - and at that point you may as well add the exploding fat guy as the second Yoshi rep.

Edit: Looked it up, makes much more sense now.
I really like duo/team characters in kart racers, but in fighting games I prefer them to be split up unless there's a really good justification in the moveset.
More Western third parties getting in Smash would likely mean more sentences like this on the Smash Wiki, which I am all for

I kinda want to deep dive into the GBC library some day - it's probably the Nintendo console I'm the least versed in and as somebody who loves to discover hidden gem licensed games and absurd technological artefacts it seems pretty fit for me as a console that's library is 50% overambitious ports and 50% cheap tie in games.
Yet another post on a brainstorming thread that proves I should never be allowed to be involved with the production of a Smash game in any capacitiy.
It's kinda jarring how Ren is probably tied with Lincoln as the most expressive fighter in NASB, but Stimpy only has like 3 facial expressions - I can understand why, Ren has a neck so you can make seperate models for R&S' iconic grossout faces while Stimpy is just a circle with no head-body cutoff, but it still comes off as a little off - or I guess a little on given these two are designed specifically to look off.

The thing that annoys me about Geno's Smash popularity - isolated from the conspiracy culture and such - isn't that people are requesting an obscure Mario character, but rather that they fixated on what is IMO an extremely boring choice. Maybe it's just that I have an aversion to "badasses" and conventional heroes, and much prefer either cripplingly timid/polite or comically rude characters, but Geno just strikes me as rather boring compared to say, Vivian; Stanley; or the Diddy Kong Racers.
I might try to beat Cuphead before the DLC releases
