The menus on the Sega Ages games are so poorly coded they've tricked me into thinking I've got Joycon Drift multiple times. Still good rereleases though.

People often wonder why Sonic-related discourse tends to be so toxic, but it's really not that surprising if you consider how most people in the 90s were first introduced to Sonic:
combine that lingering first impression of rude 'tude and tacking the competition head on with a series that's constantly shifting tone and gameplay to the point its main series could be considered to made up of 3 or 4 different series and you've got an absolute recipe for disaster.

This is really cute, really well-intentioned, really catchy and a really good resource for parents and children everywhere, but that doesn't stop Elmo saying the word "racism" from being super jarring to hear - maybe not as much as Bugs Bunny saying "what's this? a joint?" but still jarring either way.
To this day I still can't figure out why Nintendo were pushing Rosalina so hard in the 2010s - that's basically the ultimate way to sabotage a character and make fans hate them.
Buffed Bowser Jr. is so good.

My favourite Steve skin is the default Alex, though Scottish Steve is a pretty good one too. Least favourite is probably either Tennis Steve or Zombie

Steve blends in to Smash much better when he's not the camera's focus.
the pig Mii head on Sans' body is very slightly terrifying.
My biggest worry about Steve was that his mining would make him better or worse on certain stages, but all terrain-specific mining really effects are the blocks, he still gets the same stream of iron; diamond and redstone on all stages.
I never really got the point of having a comic relief in a show or movie that's already a comedy.

I can't see this roster being as hyped up TBH.
Min Min in Smash is one those things I feel I should be angry or at the least upset about, she's such a stupid choice on a fundamental level, and only serves the purpose of being a last ditch attempt at advertising a terrible; failed product, but yet... I just can't feel upset about her. Maybe Byleth broke me.

Has anyone else been noticing a recent comeback for 4:3? I'm not complaining in the slightest though, I love 4:3.
Ultimate is pretty impressive balancing wise, like there's not even a tier list - it's just as simple as "Little Mac and Bowser Jr. bad, everyone else good"
The box art for the Steam version of the Castle of Illusion remake claims it's a Sega Saturn game.
I don't know why.
One thing I really dislike about Death Battle compared to other, smaller Vs. shows is one half of the title - the "Death". You can have a proper resolution for a battle without forcing characters to go OOC.
Super Meat Boy isn't a hard game, like, at all. It's not a bad game, I've had fun with it, but compared to the retro games it's often compared to it's a cakewalk, even if you're to play said retro games with save states.
Pac-Man 2 would actually make for a pretty good Smash stage. It's one of the few non-maze Pac-Man games Namco isn't reluctant to acknowledge and as such it rereleases somewhat frequently; plus it has quite the (mostly ironic) cult following. -
