I'm kinda curious about this "brief message from Sakurai" thing. Is it about COVID's effects on SSBU development? a possible FP2 release window delay?
Those "tricking tech support scammers" YouTube channels were funny at first, but now they're basically just doxxing people.
The Mario 3D All-Stars reveal trailer shows the only 3 examples of redrawn textures in 64. Surely this could count as false advertising by omission?
The only three environmental textures that have been actually redrawn in the Super Mario 3D All-Stars version of Super Mario 64 are the Boo paintings and the Bowser sliding puzzle. I honestly don't see what's so special about Wario's shoulder bash. It's really just a generic platformer rush attack all things considered, it works perfectly as a dash attack. I don't know how you could play as a guy who runs over people with a motorbike and say "God, I wish he rammed into people with his shoulder instead."
I have always seen this and always will.

Pixar needs to make a feature length 2D animated movie. Their new Sparkshort "Burrow" looks so good, as do the 2D characters in Soul.
I was thinking of starting a general support thread for serpentine fighters. Turns out there aren't many serpentine video game characters, like in general, let alone ones people would actually care about.
Not that they would, but if Nintendo were to straight up just steal another company's game and put it on a cartridge without getting consent or giving royalties, I feel people would still defend them.

I had this ridiculous dream where a reconstructed, multicoloured, dinosaur with leaves for scales-er, feathers- and visible bones came to one of my old schools, and even though I knew it was made of leaves and couldn't harm me, I was still terrified out of my mind.

Grounded videos are some of the best "so bad it's good" stuff online. Honestly I can't help but respect them, they are creatively absurd and I get the feeling a lot of the kids who make this stuff will go on to be very successful.

It'll always be funny to me that Betty Boop is promoted nowadays as a "flirtatious sex icon" despite the fact the original Betty Boop cartoons were anything but sexual.
