So, I can't fight Sephiroth if I don't have the Fighter's Pass? Oof.

So, something rather...strange happened just now.
I was just looking at my alerts on SmashBoards, and it said someone liked one of my posts in a thread...but it said "In 2 minutes."
I went to the post, then checked the alerts again, and now it says "2 minutes ago."
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it a glitch, or did SmashBoards really just predict the future?
Okay, what genius decided they should put a sound effect in between each level in the official soundtrack of Sonic Colors? I have to make a playlist just to comfortably listen to the damn thing.
Y'know, I've always wondered if Crisis City is like a Sonic CD Bad Future version of San Francisco/City Escape.
Here's an opinion:
Sonic Unleashed opening > Sonic Riders opening > Sonic CD opening > Sonic Adventure opening > Sonic Colors opening > SA2B opening > Sonic Mania opening > Sonic Heroes opening > Shadow The Hedgehog opening > Sonic Generations opening
I would honestly love to see a modern console Sonic 06 port. It’s possibly one of the most important games in the history of the medium, marking the fall of a beloved icon (for about four years, but still, even today critics talk about Sonic 06 for like three minutes before getting onto the actual review/preview of the Sonic game).
I'm going to do my homework now. If you see me online between now and 5:30 est please bonk me on the head as punishment.

It's almost eerie to not see the Geno thread on the front page.
I hope the next Smash character has a short dagger at the very most. Kinda tired of characters being like “alright, how long can we make their disjoint without it being ban-worthy?”
I can't wait to see how Mario dies in the next reveal trailer, like is it just me or does Sakurai have something against Mario?

I see a lot of people saying they're excited to see that the One Winged Angel is in Smash. Like yeah it's a good song but shouldn't we be more excited for Sephiroth being in Smash?

The more I think about it, the more inviting I am of Jonesy's possibility. I don't want him in that badly but I would welcome him with open arms if he makes it.
The only thing that would upset me would be his moveset. I don't think it's gonna be all that fun to fight against. But oh well.
Don't hate something for the sake of it being popular.

Imagine, you're watching the Game Awards...
Host: "Well, I just got the go-ahead from my advisor. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the Game Awards!"
Then, the lights go off.
"...That wasn't supposed to happen."
Then, camera cuts to the screen of the Awards show, which shows this:
This song starts to play. We hear a nefarious-sounding voice say this: "We interrupt these Game Awards to bring you a very...special...announcement."
Finally this site can be alive again
Infinite's plans in Sonic Forces have always confused me. If he can make infinite copies of villains from Sonic's past that are just as strong as before, why not make copies of Dark Gaia and Solaris? Why not upgrade Chaos 0 to Perfect Chaos, Shadow to Super Shadow, Zavok to his big final transformation, and Metal Sonic to Metal Overlord? Why not make copies of himself to generate more copies at a time?

Out of curiosity, I looked up "Super Mario Bros Z" in the search bar of SmashBoards. Most of the posts were from 2009, saying stuff like, "Ep 8 just came out, it's awesome!"
Man that makes me feel old.
I'm exhausted. I wanna go back to that time when the most of our worries were that there wasn't a Direct for a while or that BotW 2 would take a really long time to get new info about.
I can't believe I just saw someone use this as a defense for Nintendo:
"You grew up on Nintendo and probably got your gaming start there. Hating Nintendo is like hating your grandpa."
Difference is 1. my grandpa actually loved me back and 2. I love my grandpa for who he is, not for the things he gave me.
I've heard most are indifferent to this whole #savesmash thing outside of the competitive communities and general Smash, but one thing we can all agree is BS is Nintendo shutting down production of Etika-themed joycons that were going to mental health awareness charity.
I got a Steam copy of Sonic Generations two months ago and I'm pretty close to beating it 100%-just a few Red Star Rings left. But as I was playing the missions, I got hit with a wave of nostalgia. Back to when I was stuck at my mom's house on the weekends, with the only things to entertain myself being an XBOX 360, Sonic Generations, 06, and the movie Finding Nemo. Gens became the first game I ever beat 100% for that reason alone. And when I was done with that, I would replay my favorite levels or missions over and over again. It's a bittersweet thought, and it weirdly makes me pity my younger self for not having anything else to do on the weekends, like hanging out with friends (none lived by my mom's house) or at least playing a different game-which makes me want to 100% Generations again that much more.

I don't know if I'll ever get into competitive Melee, but if I do I'm maining Bowser and no one can stop me. -
