I think some people get the wrong idea about me from my opinions on the 2010s Sonic era, that I dislike nostalgia and nostalgic things.
That's totally not true. I'll drop everything at a moment's notice to rewatch Shrek or replay Super Smash Bros Brawl.
Thing is, when nostalgia is put into something-let's say, modern Star Wars movies-for the sake of nostalgia and nothing else, it just feels forced and pandering. Green Hill Zone and other Classic imagery are things I love, and I certainly don't hate their many returns. I just dislike how Sega isn't willing to try new things. It's not the abundance of Green Hills, it's the lack of anything else I dislike.
