TBH the toughest part of landing EWGF for me isn't the input-I can get it pretty consistently now, except for in the middle of a combo like nair fair nair. No, the toughest bit for me is just knowing what to do afterwards, I almost always default to Up B even if they're not at kill percent because I'm like "Oh cool, I landed the super tough command input with like dozens of follow ups!"

Had two really bad dreams last night.

First and longest one, someone on Smashboards posted a YouTube link-clicked on it and I thought it was going to be a meme (given it was a video with the dbz "DUN DUN DUN DUN, DUN DUN DUN DUN" music and a jojo background). Nope, was a shock-type video of a guy choking and stabbing his wife to death before shoving a pink stuffed elephant in her face for some reason. Afterwards my entire recommended (apart from a few Scott The Woz videos) was filled with shock and horror videos. Really disturbing stuff. I woke up and just felt like I couldn't move.

Second, and not as scary but still wasn't a good dream. Context: we recently added Eggman as our newcomer in the Infinite thread, to the dismay of many who wanted more Sega franchises repped instead. In the dream, Venus announced that because everyone had complained enough, we were cutting Eggman and replacing him with Arle and Axel (who weren't even elligible for the job Eggman won in the first place). The dream ended before I could try to challenge this decision.

Sakurai said the main reason Heihachi wasn’t included was not because he was a mii costume, but because he didn’t have the dragon thing-that’s why they went for kazuya instead. Does that mean they could potentially make a fighter out of a costume or AT as long as they work well in the context of Smash?
It might’ve just been an error in translation but man, if it isn’t?

Well the Mii Costumes are cool at least. Didn't expect so many characters to get deconfirmed all at once but hey, the Shantae one looks awesome at least.
The other two new ones tho I'm not too keen on.

According to IMDb, Ryan Drummond and Jason Griffith are coming back to voice Zonic and Zhadow the Zone Cops in Prime. Jaleel White is apparently coming back as Classic Sonic. The other characters are frankly voiced by people I've never heard of. I'll assume they're Canadian since that's apparently why Colleen isn't voicing Tails in it.
I love those actors and as much as I want them back, I don't believe this leak given that last week there were a bunch of SatAM characters that aren't there anymore. Also the only extra that is listed is "Pregnant woman #2" which is honestly kinda strange.

I don't know if I've said this before, but I really, REALLY hate Silver's TSR render. Nothing about it screams "Silver the Hedgehog" despite it literally being a render of said hedgehog. His mouth is super small, and hard to notice, but once you see it there's not a lot of emotion going on there-or anywhere on his face for that matter. And he's holding out one hand and pulling back the other, like "I am going to attack you" but this is a racing game so what need? He's not really the character to be itching for a fight at every waking moment-that's more Shadow's thing.
Then again, I could see the whole render as a reference to his model in 06-where EVERYONE looked emotionless and had tiny, hard-to-see mouths. Still hate the render though.

I was out with my family all day yesterday, and honestly it was really nice to get away from smash/Nintendo speculation for a bit.
That being said, I think the direct was pretty good. Nothing really popped out to me (apart from the BotW 2 teaser, also Ganondorf’s corpse was pretty hilarious). But overall I’m pretty excited to finally play as Warioware characters as well as going through the original Monkey Ball games ~~without going through the trouble of emulation~~
