I don't think there's anything I dislike about The Last Of Us on HBO (it is seriously that good so far), but one thing I do worry is that I probably won't be able to play TLOU for a really long time after this. The best part about the game was the story, that's the whole reason to play it. The show just takes all of the game's best moments, enhances them, and changes very little about them - and in some cases having new stories entirely like in Episode 3. Now with hindsight, the game is just the show but with something for your thumbs to do.

I've discovered something new about myself as a writer - as long as I'm cycling between ten different projects at once, I won't get bored or tired. I did discover this a bit ago when I became a SB writer while still making the finishing touches to my MYM Morshu moveset, but never really applied it fully until now.

I was excited enough when Excalibur showed up - Jack Horner having to use it with the stone still attached is one of the most inventive gags I've ever seen. (I mean Excalibur isn't the one in the stone but whatever, still cool)

I'm not super optimistic about how MMX Minecraft will actually play, given a lot of people I've heard said the Sonic expansion was fairly boring and often clunky. That being said, it's awesome to have any new playable X content that isn't a gacha game, and I'm hoping this means a new game isn't too far off.

It can be a bit tough sometimes as a junior with almost exclusively senior friends - what's probably the most depressing episode of your high school career is more than likely their high point. It doesn't make me envious or upset that that's the case, but it does make it hard for my energy level to match theirs most of the time.

The Grammys nominees for VGM this year are way too heavily biased towards games with orchestra-heavy soundtracks. I hope they can diversify the selection in the years to come.

On that note, there's this weird, somewhat concerning trend I'm noticing of people thinking that videogames started as dumb, pixelated pastimes, and have eveolved to being exclusively huge, heartwrenching, story-driven masterpieces or something.
