Looking back, Subspace definitely affected the way I saw Smash as a kid and probably still today. I drew up a roster for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when I was a kid, and all the characters had really angry faces, American Kirby style. On a newcomer roster with Olaf and Kristoff of all characters. But hey, at least I predicted the title!
Just got an ad that told me to “post the blue square” to stop Jewish hate. Which is odd. Like it sort of made sense the first time but if we keep using colored squares to raise awareness for oppressed groups then my Instagram feed is gonna look like rainbow cruise from Mario 64

Was thinking this morning (almost as soon as I woke, weirdly enough) about how much I liked that Melee took it's most nimble speedster and turned him into a hulking heavyweight, as well as giving Ganondorf various odd changes to his moveset like his Side B forcing a tech situation rather than launching up for a combo. But Falcon isn't the fastest character anymore, Sonic is. So who could be Sonic's heavyweight counterpart? Mecha Sonic would be fun (and he might be my MYM set this year), but I'm talking about other series here.

The continent of SmashBoards, said to be protected by a revered moderation team, has existed since time immemorial (2002). Three relatively niche indie game protagonists now control the profile posts. Once consumed by a tempest of war and turmoil, Smashboards and these three mighty indie mascots now exist in relative harmony.

- If it's a duo/trio/etc, I evaluated them individually, then ranked them. For example, Astro Bot is not political, Joel is a conservative, Aloy is a liberal and Ellie is a democrat, so the PS4/5 party averages out to Democrat.
- For characters with character arcs (namely Jack and Once-ler), I ranked them based on the aftermath of their character arc, AKA how we last saw them (like yeah Once-ler was a moral-less capitalist, but he's also the sole reason that the real trees come back in the end).
- For characters without much substance I just went off of vibes (like Shy Guy)
- This is very probably biased due to my own political views
- This took a full hour

I'd submit wheels for DriDim but I really only know Naughty Dog stuff and I feel like all of those games are generously repped by this point.

It's not that guys don't get hints. I get them, I'm just really scared because if I'm just making something out of nothing, and my actions are based on those "hints", then I would be breaking all boundaries and possibly ruin a friendship, or worse. So I wait for 100% confirmation of someone's feelings rather than taking a huge risk.

Y'know, maybe the low draw distance on platforms wasn't the worst idea for Frontiers. When you can see everything via mods...it just kinda looks gross and cluttered. Adding on a Cyberspace effect whenever platforms pop in would have been a really nice touch, though.
The Wii U's main gimmick was pointless (espeically with the Switch existing now) but you have to admit, this art is really adorable

Everyone from 1-10 I'll definitely play a lot, after that probably not. Mainly going by a mixture of how cool they look and how much fun they look. I'll probably play dumb create-a-characters more than anyone though lol.

Since Crush 40 teasing their music being in Sonic 2 ended up not happening, it makes me wonder if Live and Learn or Open Your Heart were originally played for the Super Sonic transformation, but it ended up being saved for the third movie,.
I'm kind of losing my mind over the fact that I wrote my Morshu moveset over a year ago now
I might start learning to speedrun Sonic Frontiers. Looks pretty fun in that regard. Like I have my problems with the game, but it is extremely polished, Sonic's never felt more responsive in an open enviornment. -
