I'm not super optimistic about how MMX Minecraft will actually play, given a lot of people I've heard said the Sonic expansion was fairly boring and often clunky. That being said, it's awesome to have any new playable X content that isn't a gacha game, and I'm hoping this means a new game isn't too far off.
It can be a bit tough sometimes as a junior with almost exclusively senior friends - what's probably the most depressing episode of your high school career is more than likely their high point. It doesn't make me envious or upset that that's the case, but it does make it hard for my energy level to match theirs most of the time.
It would be a really funny Sonic 3 & Knuckles reference if we got a Sonic part 2 expansion right after McDonald's in DriDim

I had a dream last night where someone told me that in the new Piss in Boots that Death is actually the Big Bad Wolf from Shrek in disguise. I'm 95% sure that isn't true IRL, but I got so upset in the dream, like I genuinely wanted to beat the person up.
The Grammys nominees for VGM this year are way too heavily biased towards games with orchestra-heavy soundtracks. I hope they can diversify the selection in the years to come.
On that note, there's this weird, somewhat concerning trend I'm noticing of people thinking that videogames started as dumb, pixelated pastimes, and have eveolved to being exclusively huge, heartwrenching, story-driven masterpieces or something.

Brock, Hex Maniac, Cilan, and Hilbert/Bianca/Cheren were close seconds though - wanted to keep it to actual Pokemon.
Just learned about Mega Man X Innocent Impulse and I think it's automatically the best Mega Man fangame because it has a statue honoring Green Biker Dude

I'm about three hours in with Fraymakers. Playing a lot of Octodad, learning Video, and I'll get to the other two eventually. My favorite assist so far is Niko, and tbh Peppino isn't really my style gameplay-wise, but it's so unfathomably based that he has an Anton skin. It's a great game that I'll probably spend a ton of time with. Hoping the next update adds a fleshed-out training mode.
Honestly I think the only way that Mario "Power-Up" moveset would work - as much as I'd dislike this - would be giving each form an extremely limited moveset, or rather only affecting Mario in passive ways. Like, the Propeller Mushroom would lower his gravity, fall speed, and weight, but increase jump height and airspeed while keeping his OG moveset - whereas the Spring Mushroom would just take his existing moveset and give him a jump, a more powerful charged jump, and silly aerials (although if you jump on someone above the blast zone it's basically an instakill spike).
This still wouldn't work though because Mini Mario would be the literal undisputed best character in the game
Bought Fraymakers tonight, gonna play it tomorrow after I finish my homework so I actually have an incentive to get it done.

I do pretty well socially on SmashBoards and IRL, whereas I manage to kill every Discord conversation I jump into. Kind of the opposite of how I was two and a half years ago, come to think of it.
I'm changing my signature, I don't know to what yet though. Currently accepting suggestions.

TIL that Ness mains have been spreading propaganda since Ultimate came out. They say you can’t SDI out of PK Fire (wiggle your stick in a certain direction to escape a multihit) when in fact you can. I’ve known you can SDI PK Fire for forever but apparently a large portion of competitive players don’t know because that’s the matchup advice that a-hole Ness mains gave out.

I'm still catching up on IDW Sonic, but I've seen what they've done so far with Scrap Mecha Sonic and I am VERY excited for that arc.
This, Frontiers, and the recently uncovered Sonic in Fighting Vipers makes me really excited to dive back into the IP crossover roster thread and spruce up Sonic Smash a bit. -
