With both Super Mario and Mickey Mouse, the name "Daisy" seems to be really popular for the girlfriends of the protagonist's main friend.
Yes I know Goofy probably qualifies more as Mickey's Luigi than Donald shut up.

I am honestly a little annoyed that most discussion about Astro Bot I see is less about any actual merits the game has and more "Wow, cool cameo!"
Imagine if the Switch 2's Mario Kart game is just another Mario Kart 8 port.
Idea: Chess trading card game where all the cards are variations on the original pieces and you play a game with the cards you have.
If you're ****, then that's bad. But if you ain't ****, then that's also bad. Clearly the ideal level of ****tiness is between the two extremes.

I do not hate the Minecraft movie's trailer. Wish it actually showed some semblance of a plot though.
DriDim engine ideas:
Pacifist: Great speed, terrible weight and doesn't take too kindly to being hit with items, decent item quality but only gets non-offensive items
Awesome: Has the best in the game by far but can only be used in singleplayer or in the "Awesome engine only" gamemode
Unstable: Good speed, bad handling, low-good item power, explodes whenever you're hit with an item or run into a wall
Buildup: Low stats all around, but has no max speed cap and can just build up an incredible amount of speed
Training: Slow speed, attack items that are not the homing missile bounce away dealing no damage but can't get items
Brrmmwasher's Engine: Absolutely terrible stats unless you are playing as specifically Brrrmmwasher.
New Mario Kart mode idea: The CC goes up with every lap, the initial CC just sets the starting speed.
I wonder what would happen if you combined all of the insulting ironic name changes (like "Micro$oft" for instance) for corporations into one mega-insult.
I really don't like when someone says someone saying some widely hated piece of media is good or that they like it is "revisionism." It just feels like they're saying that that person should not like that thing at all and get in line with the popular opinion.

Listened to the version of a song on Siivagunner before the original and now the original feels like it's the weird one. Like it's the Siivagunner rip but without a joke.
Idea: scene where two characters from alternate universes are talking and the first guy does something the other guy thinks is weird and they just assume it's a universe difference. Later, a guy from the first guy's universe sees them doing the weird thing and also thinks it's weird and the other guy is like "A-HA!"

I feel like what makes Steamed Hams really work as a timeless meme is the original skit's length. Most memes are just one joke, but Steamed Hams has got plenty of them just by itself. Instead of just being another picture under the caption, mashed up with some other meme or just being redrawn with a new character or something there's room for much more creative variations of the same base format.
