i don't think ANY of the top 10 players in the world claim to be better than him

if you can find me someone (top 10 player) that claims to be better then please point me to that person

I will book tickets to Genesis2 soon so i don´t have enough money for both tournaments.

The chances for me to attend Pound 5 is something like 5%.

i still think mango is the best..i just think people over estimate friendlies a bit too much.. You can clearly see mango is the best just watching him play in teams..

like i said, he needs some more motivation or something for singles

We should start a fund for armada..i want armada and amsah @ the same tourny..

did mango take a match off hbox with marth/fox i dont really expect him to win the MU with falcon.

wiith marth it possible, its really all about positioning, spacing, and move choice. Still hard buut very possible.

Icy, I know this was discussed a lot in the stream, but I still slightly disagree with you.

1. Mango

If you look at how he plays when he loses, it just seems way more overly agressive than usual to me. Like how he plays in friendlies. I think he's sandbagging, but I guess only mango knows, so, until someone starts beating him at every tournament (his falco, anyways), then I still count him as the best.

2-4. PP/Hbox/Armada

I think Hbox has the advantage here, but until he and Armada play more sets and he starts beating PP regularly again, I'll make it a tie.

PP beat Hbox at Herb 3 and RoM 3, but lost to Hbox at TO 6.
Hbox beat Armada at Apex
Armada beat PP at Apex.

5-8. M2k/Amsah/Lucky/Jman

I might get hate for throwing the 2 best foxes in there, but oh well.

Lucky and Jman can hang with M2K, but M2K still beats them.
Lucky beat Amsah at Pound 4
Amsah beat Jman at Pound 4 in a close set, so we know Jman can hang with him.
Jman beat Lucky at DGDTF and Rom3.
M2K and Amsah have yet to play in tournament.
I would give M2K a slight edge here just because of his track record against everyone else. He still *****, even if he thinks he sucks.

9-? This is where I think it gets hard to rank people.

IMO this is where players like Axe, Shiz, Zhu, Wobbles, SS, EggM, Hax, Darc, Vanz, and etc go. I honestly feel like, for now, this is the area that will/does change the most. These players are legit as hell, and are constantly improving and that's why you can never expect any of these players to win/lose.

All the good spacies just SDI out of it at low percentages, so I usually do other things then. Zhu and Lucky beat me in winners and losers, respectively, because they significantly outplayed me overall. I definitely did come out of this tourney with much more confidence in myself than I did before, though.

PP cant be above m2k he only beat him in rom but m2k **** him in tipped off 5 so i think they need to play again to define this.

everytime i dont check smashboards these topics grow out of nowhere. and we debated this to no end and still people need to start new topics about the best player even though its clear. and a short tournament in the us does not give instantly more reasons for not putting armada on #1.
you dont even know about the scene going on in europe, you dont know how many tourneys there are and dont you see us creating new topics on the daily just because armada wins everything.

IDK, we probably shouldn't give the same ranking for NSTC and PAL. Aramada may very well be the best PAL player in the world. But who do you think are the best players solely based on NSTC?
