You're given the item-summoning tools and static foe of training mode, a time limit, an insane hitstun boost, and are scored by how long the combos you perform with that time are - the biggest score between turn-taking players wins. While there is a CPU to score, you can also get a (group of) player(s) to rank the combos for a more human touch,

Shoutouts to Goofy Goober Rock and Sweet Victory - While they're both great, the licensing issues involved with both made me stay away from adding them.

As for my mode, I'll be resubmitting Bubble Brawl (fitting given who it'll be packaged with)
This mode requires 4, 6, or 8 players, with 2/3/4 to a team respectively. In this mode, knockback is cranked way up, meaning that KOs are much more frequent. The main gimmick of this mode is that fighters do not use respawn platforms; Instead, they float back into frame inside of a bubble, akin to the multiplayer of New Super Mario Bros. Wii and U. The bubble can only be popped by a player’s teammates.

Autumn is the champion of the tournament conquest

FazDude's Taunts, victories, and alts will be used

SpongeBob's second stage will be When Worlds Collide! - you can run, but no can hide!
OK, in that case I'll probably open Gooigi/Funky differences as a job later.

Anyway, my submission will be Combo Contest

Submit a Kirby or Fire Emblem cosmetic pack!

Please submit 20 cosmetic items for a pack based on either Kirby or Fire Emblem!

Submit a conquest to promote another video game!
This can be Nintendo or third party, but please make sure the IP featured doesn't already have some kind of DLC content. This will disconfirm content for that series later down the line

If two different video games are allowed:

Multiversus (Mario, Reindog hat) vs. Brawlhalla (Wario, Bodvar headgear)

If this isn't allowed then use this:
Rocket League Car (Mario, Octane Hat (like, the front of the car is just on your head)) vs. Ball (Wario, RL Ball mask)

Submit an Asian guest newcomer!

Please submit a guest newcomer who was created in Asia. This doesn't have to be Japanese, nor does it have to be anime - it also must not be a video game character. Note that Goku and other Dragon Ball characters are disconfirmed.

The King of the Kaijus would be giant a la MVS' Iron Giant (technicially giving him a hook) - he would use a design based on his Hanna Barbera look to fit the Mario universe a little better, though his default costume would be grey and not green.

Other Shonen Jump IPs should be fine - I did some research into Dragon Ball's ownership when we added the Goku vs. Vegeta conquest and it seems Dragon Ball is a creator-owned IP.

Tony Tony Chopper

One Peice is a huge series in Japan. However we've mostly avoided anime style humans for this game. But OP does have a very popular "scrimblo" style character. While Luffy may be the story's main character, Chopper is the mascot, appearing on a ton of merch. His attacks would involve his transformations, along with varoius weapons taken from the series. He could have costumes based off other One Peice characters. OP and Mario have actualy crossed over before.

Asian guest submission:
Doraemon (Resubmission)
1662900522399.png
Doraemon is an eponymous protagonist of self-titled manga/anime series Doraemon and he is a blue-whiterobot cat who was sent back from 22nd century to modern times where he has to take care of Nobita.
He is one of Japanese anime icons and his design would fit within Mario universe (Keep I mind that he crossed over with Mario three times)

For his attacks, he could use his weapons to attack the opponents like punches for example. He could even grow high as his final smash attack.

I feel that Doraemon would make sense in the game, considering that his aesthetic would fit in Mario universe like I said earlier.

Resubmitting the Fuwa as I feel our second Asian guest fighter should be a non-Japanese character.

The Fuwa (Good-Luck-Dolls) (The Olympics)

051AEF3A-6C2C-4788-9733-8BDBA8497AFF.jpeg

These dolls were the mascots of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Each one of them represented a different continent participating in the Olympics and different aspects of Chinese culture. I feel these dolls can be a stance fighter with elements of Chinese culture sprinkled in their moveset. There is obviously a connection between Mario and the Olympics as that is where Mario and Sonic first crossed over right in Beijing, China. We can definitely have loads of Olympics themed stuff as well come with this DLC fighter.

Definitely an out there choice for sure.

A very popular character between Asia, the Americas, and Europe alike. Would be very light for his size.

Submit a conquest based on a Nintendo IP!
This can't be one of the series that already has a cosmetic set, but it can be one of the series that were provided as an option for an earlier cosmetic job.

I did the calculations for this, but the page reloaded with an incomplete version and I can't be bothered to recount, so take my word on this (or count yourself if you want):

The King of the Kaijus, Godzilla, joins the battle as our 5th and final guest!

The EarthBound conquest will be used by default, please vote here

Submit Godzilla's moveset!
Remember that Godzilla will be abnormally large, and use a design reminiscant of his Hanna-Barbera design with elements (like grey scales) taken from more mainstream versions

Submit Godzilla's Final Smash

Submit a victory theme for Godzilla!

Godzilla Moveset
  • Neutral Special: Atomic Breath
    • Godzilla tilts his head down as he uses his atomic breath to create a laser which starts at his feet and moves forwards a fair distance, similarly to Superman's heat vision in Multiversus. However, this move does require a passive charge much like ROB's Neutral Special, meaning that it can't be spammed. In addition, if used in midair, Godzilla will be propelled a short distance upwards as a small nod to him using his atomic breath to fly in some movies (although the endlag makes this function worthless for recovery).
  • Side Special: Kaiju Charge
    • Godzilla simply runs forwards for a charging attack. Due to his size, it isn't a very fast charge, but coming into contact with Godzilla does some serious damage and knockback.
  • Up Special: Body Slam
    • Godzilla leaps a short distance upwards before crashing to the ground. While it isn't very good for recovery, getting hit by it hurts.
  • Down Special: Nuclear Pulse
    • Godzilla readies himself. If hit by an attack during this phase, he retaliates by releasing a burst of atomic energy around himself, damaging anyone caught in the blast.
Final Smash: King of the Monsters
Godzilla leaps into the background before rising up, now at a size more similar to his source material. From the background, Godzilla fires the Red Spiral Beam into the foreground, being able to move his head to redirect the beam and catch opponents with its powerful blast. After a few seconds, Godzilla stops firing and returns to the battlefield with his reduced size.

Godzilla is the heaviest character in the game by far - if Bowser is combo food, then Godzilla is a motherfreakin buffet. He's also the slowest character in the game. Also also, he has no Up B recovery, as he is so large he'll be able to reach the ledge without much worry (and he does have an alternative recovery tool).

Down B: Tokyo Panic
Godzilla stomps, and a large building appears in front of him. Think of it like a big Pac-Man hydrant that doesn't shoot water. They will be made of different materials and with those have different durability numbers, dependent on RNG, however all of his buildings are the same height and have poppy buildboards with Japanese text on them.

Up B: Call of the Kaiju
Godzilla looks up and roars, which stuns opponents within range and gives him momentary heavy armor. This is Godzilla's main move that he can use if an opponent is platform camping (which I imagine will be a very common anti-Godzilla strat) or if he needs to get people off his back as he's recovering.

Neutral B: Atomic Laser
Godzilla charges up a laser. He can aim in three directions, all of which vary greatly from one another, but the main similarity is that they all do big damage and keep the opponent in place, take about a second to charge, and Godzilla will stall for a second if he uses any variation in the air. He cannot use the aerial Atomic Laser more than once per airtime.
DOWN: Fires straight downwards, causes fire for a little bit that does chip damage but no knockback (think Pirhanha Plant's uncharged Down B with the active hitbox of the fully charged version). If in the air, this can be used as a recovery tool that shoots you straight up! But you're fully open apart from the laser so be prepared to be gimped if you're not careful.
FORWARD: Straight forwards. It will make Godzilla fly backwards in the air, which also has a hitbox on his backside like Orcane's fair.
UP: Straight up, causes a purely visual effect at the top of the screen where the sky opens up in a cool vortex thing. If used in the air, Godzilla will go down really fast, which is good for combos and funny spikes but bad if you're trying to recover. He can snap the ledge with this but if you miss...uh oh. (same goes for the down version)

Side B: uh this thing
