Yes, but is potentially healing off all your damage, and still doing relatively decent damage to your opponent good?

I think so.
Yea true.

Mario's is the worst, I don't understand how there is an argument about this.
Eh, Kirby and Lucario might have worse.
Oh and ZSS, at least Mario's is worth using as a GTFO move/edgeguarding or something I dunno.

Lucario's and MK's should tie for the worse f-smash. Although not everyone in the cast can jump over lucario's f-smash.

^ I agree.

Mario's Final Smash isn't that bad if you use it properly.

I mean, it's bad, but it's not worse than everyone below him.

One day when I win a major, I will finally be confident enough to submit myself to the tutelage of Aerodrome. His knowledge is boundless and his wisdom surpasses all. One day... I hope to be worthy.

It's quite flashy though, and I remember ****ing when I saw it in the trailers. It's an iconic final smash.

If only it was as good as the 'flashiness' portrayed lol.

You know if the stage moves, his Final doesn't. So if you fire it on any stage that scrolls up, you can actually kill yourself out the bottom, and and stage that side scrolls, you can die out the side. I did it on delfino once, and mario moved as the stage raised, but the FS didn't :/. You can DI all the way through it and hit mario with any smash you want basically lol. Again, that's if it hits at all.

I have basically walked through it with D3 and charged a Jet hammer to his face lol. I used to be scared, now I almost let Mario players get it so I can laugh at how bad it is.

And this is the case with about 90% of Final Smash attacks.

How to avoid it?

Don't use it offstage when the platform leaves and wonder why it's not defying the laws of physics. :urg:

Regarding Jet Hammering your opponent, I'm certain every character has invincibility (Except IC's and partially Luigi) frames until their first actionable frame. :urg: :urg:

Edit:
Now it's time for a needless comparison:

Ike's nair sucks because if you use it offstage you die.

Obvs you can't hit chars mid FS, but I mean as the animation ends. You have enough time to DI through it and hit mario as his animation ends.
Pretty sure he's still invincible during the ending animation.

Most characters are.

Technically D3 could still meaty him with down-b, unless Mario's up-b is invincible on frame 1, but you'd have a very small window to hit Mario.

sonics taunt should be he has a flashback of the 90's when he was actually cool (way past cool) and not a massive ******, and then he breaks down into tears.

Oh, but with this discussion, I'm assuming all items are on high, all stages on random (bar New Pork City) FUN standard.

In that case's Marth isn't bad, I have pretty good success with it :D. Marth's very good at controlling items and can punish air dodges with the move, and honestly, you're getting ****ed up by marth's moveset otherwise in most situations. Some characters get up animations from the ledge can happen too.

Within the chaos of 3 or 4 players, punishing things with his Ult becomes a lot more likely. Especially if you're teaming up on the guy because he has an extra stock.

In terms of stages such as Eldin, Norfair, Brinstar, Castle Siege, etc you can be like BANG BANG and **** people with hit lag.

Also, I thought, maybe I recall wrongly, that Marth can cancel some of the lag of the move before hand or afterwards? Not sure, something or rather.

Nope, just Smashballs.

I discovered the other day that Ganon's FS is super broken since he has a guarenteed setup into it via Flame Choke.

like

Also Shire, you're about 3 weeks late to the partay.

Ganon is even more broken with a timer than with a smashball.
Side-b when they're slow and can't avoid anything to reverse warlock punch combo.
/This thread should probably be closed, and another one can be made if people want to discuss items.
