You can hit with the middle of the kyick hitbox at like like 30-50% vs fast fallers and they cant jump out. they cant be punished if they tech and place or miss the tech tho i think

the control stick gives you more than one frame to use a jump

as long as it takes you more than one frame to get from neutral to up on the stick, it is better because it will act like kind of a buffer and will rejump whenever the move ends since you will be in the process of moving the control stick up

this is what i was told and it makes sense...still it's only a very small difference and none if you have your timings down for your aerials

Agree with Matt; control stick is a lot easier if you don't have your timing down.

Same reason NK and I SH-Double Laser with stick :p.

Still nothing but timing.

I could say my finger moving to the X button and get the same result.

When I jump wit Stick other than double lasering wit falco, I make mistakes.

jump buttons **** {only x tho}

u can hit all the jump buttons in succession for the greatest success its just preference i played trad fighter 3s a while and now i use xy to get the jump in asap in some situations also use a and cstick combined bc theres no neg edge its not as good but drumming is still good in this game pretty good i dont use sentence structure sometimes this is impossible to read and understand lol

if your being shield pressured that badly
then roll

if you have you shield up on purpose then its ok

but if you really dont know what to do
just roll or wd back or something

lightsheild to kill marth

Sometimes it's nice to lightshield on the edge of a platform, especially when people just respawn.

i always thought of doing that too

but then i think about it

and alot of time

youll be lightshielding, theyll just jump to the platform and like watch

instead of just grabbing

so i just dont do it because could just grab

when people respawn i like to waveland alot and confuse myself so the other person gets confused to

I don't understand how some people have so much trouble getting back after a drop zone. I have a lot more trouble getting the **** thing to hit where I live. **** DI!

Lightshielding depends on frames and stuff, but in general I think lightshielding is a good idea when they're going to attack your shield and go through you. Like sheik's dash attack when they would normally land behind you, you can probably light shield and then shield grab. But this all depends on frames, and I'm not sure how much more hitstun the lightshield has over the normal shield.

wars not make one great
I usually survive the drop zone, but most times I don't even care if I do as long as it gets the kill and we're tied in stock. I still can't gentleman consistantly even with using Scar's method of A let go A let go HOLD A. I keep trying to dash after it to a knee but Falcon just stands there.
