THEN let go of A

get over the weird feeling of holding A and dash dancing and youll be fine
simple, easy, no need of light shield or any bs like that
just practice

I got caught in a spam jab Falcon combo and smash DI'd behind him to a shffl knee.

I think the hardest think to do consistently with Falcon that's practical is shffl nair slight DI away to turn around jabs. I don't think enough falcons do aerials to turn around jabs enough. It's pretty good.

then they get stuck in it
and when they fail to roll or do anything
stop smashing a and press down b a million times
youll avoid a shield grab or w/e because falcon kick is sexy and he goes back alittle bit

Yes this is easy and simple and I can do it consistently. WHEN IT HITS!
Then there are like 5 million bajillion other methods for when it doesn't hit all equally ******** and half of em don't work. I mean sure yea pivot tilt is probably harder but this is 3 jabs we are talking about! It's not supposed to be a god **** advanced technique!

You know what this game needs? A show input option. Then we could all find out why the hell its so **** hard to NOT do over 3 jabs.

It doesn't have to be usefull to be the pinnacle of tech skill. See space animal side b ledgestall.

Also I just tried pivot tilting and air gentlemaning. Air gentleman is definitely harder. Unless your doing it slow as hell.

you dont need to hit with both jabs

just 1 of the first 2

WEll that would be the case most of the time. Unless you really wanted to throw fist of fury. If I could always gentleman whether I hit or not just cuz I dont get stuck without control, and its faster

honestly, the only advice is l2pivot. it's 100% timing and it's a 1 frame window... so yea...

I have this problem where I'll be playing great, say against marth, but then all of a sudden i'll get combod, and combod and combod and combod and my 2 stock lead has gone to a 1 stock disadvantage. It's usually against marth that this happens.

I know characters like peach and marth etc are supposed to be easy to combo for falcon, and it's true i can combo any peach or marth that has terrible DI so easily, but theres only a few players around here better than me and they seem to DI my attacks perfectly and i can't follow anything up. Am I just sucking at following up or should i be trying something else if they do start DI'ing so well?

Really wanna take falcon to grand finals around here but i just cant make it that tiny step .

This isnt as fast but its easier, you could shield pivot.

Dash the way you want to aerial shield and then aerial.

cc fsmash is just as fast, lots of marths do that

run, press down and over on the cstick before your dash animation ends

idk i think pivot fsmashes are really easy to do, work on pivot nairs before practicing smash attacks tho

pivot fsmashes have a utility in that you can do it in the middle of a dashdance, rather than having to wait until your initial dash animation ends to dash cancel fsmash. i do it sometimes for mindgamez.. but there are more reliable options.
pivot nairs are great imo, for falcon/fox/marth.
