I thought BF was in Jigg's favour if not even. Out of the neutrals, its just PS and YS. Or... Those are the ones only ones that I tend to get owned on in this matchup.

Yeah BF is supposed to be bad for Marth since Jiggs can screw Marth on the edges lol

Corneria...I have the same opinion as elven lol I could only fight on the tail

A Jiggs player told me to go with Green Greens since it is a free kill at 20 pct with a tipper XD

I dunno, I feel like Jigglypuff has a really hard time sweetspotting... eh, I guess that's not just on Battlefield.

Fountain of Dreams, maybe? I like the platforms (since I would just spam C-Stick vs Jiggs). Its harder for Jiggs to combo with moving platforms. I don't mind the edges too much, and horizontal kills aren't too bad there, right?

Oh, and sweet spotting with Jiggs isn't really too hard. Just ^B a bit under the ledge.

Wait.. I'm assuming you were talking about recovery. What I said is nonsense if you weren't.

You're all doing it wrong fyi.

Just run away and camp massive **** sword priority and don't get cornered.

Counterpick Final Destination, he destroys Puff like extra hard there. Alternatively, Pokemon Stadium and Yoshi's Story are also acceptable counterpicks. Yoshi's because she dies at like 20 and Pokemon because it's basically FD in the context of Marth / Jigglypuff only you both can be gimped off the two platforms and she dies faster.

Picking gay levels with Marth is stupid, he sucks on all of them. Like, badly. Corneria angles ruin him, Japes he gets camped and gimped, Cruise is a nightmare, etc.

If you're going to camp the fin for invincibility when you have a lead, please do it right and use Sheik plz. Marth sucks at that, they'll just wait for 9 minutes or grab the edge during your descending lag or sneak it because they're Jigglypuff and then you have to fight. At least with Sheik even if she takes the edge you can just run away, throw needles, make her come after you, go back to the fin, and then resume...

Seriously who actually fights on Corneria.

Definitely not. Marth likes the platforms on other levels to get around ledge traps.

Yes, but they will ban Yoshi's 99% of the time.

Umm... Coneria angles really don't matter one bit in this matchup.

You don't camp for invincibility, you camp for easy damage and a positioning advantage (you're back to the fin with Jigg's back to a very close blastzone).
At least with Sheik even if she takes the edge you can just run away, throw needles, make her come after you, go back to the fin, and then resume...
Marth can do this too (minus the needles of course).

Dude, as long as you're not fighting a Fox or Shiek it's actually a really good stage for Marth (provided you fin camp correctly).

Does anyone SH f-air to b-air? I've started using it occasionally. If I do an early f-air and I go past the person (either from a shield or just low knockback), I've found that if you b-air in the same short hop they tend to be hit by it. It's just the type of thing that people seem to tend not to expect. Sort of situational and not terribly great, but it's just something I found interesting.

It's almost as useful as a SH Fair Dair XD

I tried it and it just didn't work a lot...Fair Uair is better or just SHFFL Fair to Pivot Grab so you land faster

SH Fair to Uair is pretty situational too though. If you're doing it, your opponent probably DI'ed wrong or you messed up your spacing. Or you just ran at them and Faired looking to hit with a second fair which is a great way to get shieldgrabbed. IDK I never run at someone looking to SHDF, as its very punishable. SHDF really works best after a single SHFair.

i mean no dont just run at your opponent hoping to land it, but ifyou got your opponent in a combo at like mid percents and then do it...its pretty good..and you can fidn yourself in this situation alot actually.

*blink*

...I've never even considered using Sing. Does it change your edgegrab box?
Try testing it out. I know for sure that it extends your edgegrab range. I know for sure that when you're facing the wrong direction and you sing, you grab the edge anyway, so you can SH off and Sing to grab edge. It will look like hugging in Brawl. I think there's a YouTube video demonstration of this. I'm not sure of the details, so if you test this out, please do post the results and findings.

it's been too long; so time to ask some stupid questions!

falcon's dthrow on marth, how long can you DI away to tech? do you DI just away or away and down?

Also, at higher percents if they dthrow do you just jump out to prevent regrab? Do you still DI away before jumping out? or do you di away and up?

thanks for the advice...it's been about a year since i played a falcon, so i could use the knowledge.

I DI away and tech almost always. If you jump out, you risk getting kneed and not having your second jump, which is bad. I don't really know what you mean by "how long"... it depends on what Falcon is trying to follow up with.

I need help on Link and Falcon matchups.
I have no vieos, but I played Deva and Bart yesterday, and they wrecked my ****.

Deva was jumping around throwing stuff at me and I could barely get in to hit him.
Bart is way too ****ing good. I got 4 stocked on our first match. it was a constant barrage of knees and grabs.
I seriously have no idea what to do.

play to win, camp the ledge vs falcon and simply edgeguard.

obviously he's not gonna come to you if he's an intelligent player, just lure him.

link just start combos early and finish with edgeguards, be aware that his shieldgrab is probably the best in the game so watch out for his grabs.

also if he is trying to recover with up b use counter to knock it away, easy gimp.

@Grunt: If he isn't stupid he won't approach with aerials because your swordmoves just eat them when your on the ground.

So he will DD around until he finds an opening.

Therefore slowly get closer until you can pressure him without messing up your spacing.
Try to push him towards the edges, so that you can edgeguard as soon as possible.

If you land a hit do some grabs and techchase if possible.
If not just try to stay close enough to pressure him again after his tech.

Don't try to do flashy combos, just get him off the stage, then edgeguard.

You can also Counter the hookshot recovery. It's pretty good.

EDIT: If you want Links to stop spamming, just dashdance camp near them, out of nair range. If they try to throw projectiles, dash attack him or something and start your combo from there.
