What I mean is the same path of the metagame, as in even if new things are found which they constantly are, the fundamentals and old tricks are still there and still useful. 1.1 is just a invalidates heaps of crap and changes stuff that I don't know about.

Why do we have to change the game when the majority of these issues can be fixed by banning MK? Sorry to bring the sore topic up again, but thats the best solution without changing the game a huge deal, and people no longer have to learn a new metagame style.

mk isnt a problem here, our mks are barely taking tourney placings. unless they ban him in the us, we shouldnt do it for ages. nor should we change the game around.

OH. point.

talking to m2k, hall and oats, all said that FD IS A STANDARD STARTER IN THE US. that means, for competitive consistency (particularly if some of our players wanna play overseas), we should also.

Bring FD back and get rid of Lylat. My D3 likes walls and invisible edges on PS1 and a nice long flat stage like FD.

i dont see peoples issues with lylat

pokemon stadium has a constantly changing form promoting camping in a lot of sections that are more difficult to counter than Final Destination.

I don't why people have issues with lylat. If you say edges is the reason why PS > Lylat. Then I say Pokemon stadium has bad ledges too. Neverless anyone with even the smallest grasp on how their character recovers shouldn't have trouble on them.
