Falco tourney @ APEX feat. Zhu, Shiz, PP, Chops?

anyway, i think pp is the best falco overall (less mango), but i think shiz is better at dittos. id give the round robin to shiz.

Mostly because nobody has seen him on the big screen since . . . RoM (? Not even sure) and at Pound 4 we saw PP do amazing in doubles and pretty good in singles. Zhu did amazing at Genesis and well at P4 too.

Not everybody lives in the south and can accomidate for Shiz's **** so don't complain and let people be amazed . . . or not. God knows how good all four Falcos are now. I'd put my money on 1. PP 2. Shiz 3. Zhu 4. Lambchops but I've seen what each one of these people do when they are on point and that can completely change my list upside down.

Nothing against Axe at all, his Falco is amazing and I have no doubt he'd do well against the other four I mentioned. I just think Zhu, Shiz, PP, Chops have really earned the right to play this one out a little more.

UPDATE: I spoke to Alex Strife and he completely supports running this Falco tourney. All four players are officially registered, so as long as they are all are up for participating, this will definitely happen. We're just trying to figure out the best possible time during the weekend right now.

No offense to Dr. PP cause he's **** and I can't fathom comparing these 4. That being said PP has a lot of great match ups, but last I knew Shiz and Chopz are ridiculous at dittos and it's like the one area where PP isn't great in (I don't know if this is still true but it used to be the case). Just like the Falcon tourney, this judges who is the best at dittos

I dunno. Isn't he a bit rusty atm? And seeing how well Zhu was playing in that one tournament with Scorpion (don't remember the name), I would be inclined to bet on Zhu. He has alreadt shown before that he can beat Shiz (at Genesis).

I didn't include Axe for the same reason nobody would include Mango or Mew2King into the Falcon only tourney; this isn't meant to be an end-all be-all bottomline of who the top Falco is. It's an exhibition tourney that showcases the top players who main a character, who have poured their heart and soul into that character... whose names you immediately think of when someone mentions Falco.

I think this is a great tradition for future big events. However just because the Falcon Tourney was between 4 players doesn't mean all have to be...Just sayin.

I think these events would be great crowd pleasing hype bringing events and should definately happen at APEX. Next big event we can have Foxes. Then Maybe Marth or Sheik(yuck). Samus....etc. idk

It's weird though, I had actually debated mentioning a tourney concept just like this in the main thread but I didn't know if the idea would catch on and I didn't know if Shiz/Zhu were confirmed yet.

Also, Kevin/PP wasn't that good at the ditto when he played Axe and according to him he was kinda off his game mentally (inb4nojohns), so I really wouldn't bank on that ever happening again.

Kevin is the best true Falco main (never *****es out and plays Fox vs Peach/IC'S/Jiggs/basically everyone *coughZhucough*). Trust and believe in the gym shorts, baby. Highest placing Falco, I promise.

I would love to see vids of this. But yah it shouldn't just be the top 4 Falcos, anyone who wants to enter should be allowed.

I'm kinda biased since DSW and Chops ***** me in Falco dittos for years, but I'd bet 1 of them wins. There was a good 2 to 3 years where they played each other in winners/losers/grand finals every FL tourney so I'm guessing they have way more top level Falco ditto experience than anyone else.

Why not do an 8-man Double Elimination mini tournament?

Shiz, PP, Zhu, Chops, Blunted, Axe, Silent Wolf? Eggz? etc.

The only thing is an epic Falco ditto (say PP vs Shiz) might not happen.

We could probably add Blunted in there because it'd add to the style diversity. I'm sure there are other Falcos we could add in there too but yeah, this is one diverse *** pool.
