Moderators are not exceptional gods high above the rest of the working class lol. They just... moderate any unnecessary behaviour. Why I wouldn't be qualified for that job is beyond me, whether I'm an amazing player or not.
I just attended the melee tournament as a favor to mango and to catch up with old friends. I'm not returning to melee until Genesis comes around, so that I could play on the West Coast team, if I choose to do so.
Otherwise I'm strictly brawl at the moment.
Yeah, it's probably 70:30, but that 30 is what keeps me as ROB. Haha. It's much harder for the ROB, but like I said, there's a counter to everything. He's got the tools necessary for high level play. He CAN do it.
I think rob is similar to Samus in melee. He can handle every character in the cast, though some battles are more uphill than others. He has a counter to everything, so with enough skill and patience, he could be a viable tournament contender.
Well ROBS were divided into 2 categories, campy and aggressive. I play neither. I play an adaptive style fit for any character or player.
So i just kind of flow with any match up. That, and I have precise ways of edgeguarding certain characters and positioning myself in certain match ups, so as to limit any advantages characters may have on ROB.
So my style, combined with certain tactics that I've only seen myself use, are what's getting me a unique ROB going.

Yeah haha, me and DJ Nintendo play Melee still, idk about any west coast bowsers at this point.
No after I won one of the RI Bi-weeklies I just kinda grew bored of the game and went back to Melee.
I cannot make a thread called "oranges" for the purpose of talking about Sheik's back-air. Sure, the creator could change the title, but you could just as easily create a new thread. Locking the thread obviously got the message across much better.
So, resume the discussion in an appropriately named thread. Why do people act dumb and then become offended at mods doing their jobs?
I think I'm better off outside of it, that's all.
