If you block the fair, Puff is in hitlag for 6 frames, so she wastes 6 frames of her invincibility on hitlag. But then you're in shieldstun for 6 frames so it all balances out and it's as if you were never hit and have OoS options.

edit: I want to see videos and methods explored before giving my opinion btw. I want to see this experimented with by good people just out of curiosity.

Just because it changes the match up significantly against fast fallers doesn't mean that it warrants being banned; it just means that the match up has to be played differently.

I think its interesting that Hbox (the only current puff who could hope to get enough leads to make this work in tournament vs. top level players) and PP (the only fox/falco/falcon with a base skill level higher than m2ks, and the only person m2k could prove this is broken with by winning an mm with him while planking) have abstained from posting in this thread.
Block and attack the fair at the "same" time, ICs can do it., so more then pika is viable to beat it, its just good in a spacie oriented metagame.

I don't see why M2K is so afraid of "breaking the game". If it really does end up game-breaking (which we have clear evidence otherwise of), then we can consider. But until its taken to a large scale tournament there's no reason to even consider banning it.

The problem with our community is that we are too small for truely game breaking tactics to emerge.
Even if this was "unbeatable", it would never come up in meaningful matches because:
1. The top players respect each other too much to try it in tournament and
2. The bad players aren't good enough to beat the top players with it anyway
So we're really just talking for talking's sake. This community is really small and everyone is way too friendly with one another because we all love the game so much. If the community was as big as SF's or if the game was as bad as brawl, then we would have cause for concern. As it stands, we're pretty much discussing a topic which will never manifest itself in a meaningful tourny match, even if it is unbeatable. (which it isn't.)

JPOBS has an excellent point. 
I tried to get m2k to show me this when he came to an NC tournament once, but he said he "couldn't commit to it without money on the line" which makes no sense to me as he did it just fine to hax and jman in friendlies.
If this is that huge of a concern though I can just MM m2k's puff at genesis 2. His puff is kinda <.< though.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure how Falco would deal with this with Puff at a low percent, but I imagine I'd get reallllllll good at reading puff on the edge. The fun part about this is puff always has to go back to the edge while Falco can always take it theoretically(or just hit puff). I can't really guess about more than that since I've never seen the strategy done or I could think up counters to it based on the way it was all done or how much time there is to punish something.

it's happening at Genesis then. I'll throw $25, Jason will throw $25 on his Puff w/ 4 stocks vs PP's Falco w/ 3 stocks (I think this is fair since Jason's puff is ">.>"). either way I'm happy cause either PP wins and I get to see the best in the world devise a way around this bull****, or Jason wins and I make (hax)$

Even if PP were unable to beat it, all it does is show one match up where this tactic is already known be effective; that's not exactly ban worthy. It'd be like finding some new inescapable waveshine infinite and then banning it after proving it on Link. If this really is ban-worthy, then it should be shown to affect most of the cast as opposed to just three or so characters.

Ban Peach, she is broken in PAL, proven at every major in europe for a couple of years.

Well that's just the problem, though; it's hard to believe a strategy is broken when the guy who says so won't let anyone see it.
