Well then imagine yourself this situation, Say that you just finished a computer program that you have been working for a very long time and you were about to do the final tests for it.
But then you hear from a good friend of yours that he took your computer program without asking directly and says that he will release it for you to the public. What if the program wasn't completely ready and was like 85% finished? What if there were still bugs in it or critial errors? You can imagine 2 things that can happen:
1. Your friend who has released the computer program will get praised and get alot of credit for it even tho he did absolutely nothing for the program and the public will frown at or even hate the real programmer for not releasing it much earlier even we your friend says that it is your work from 0% to 100%.
2. After a few days from the day the computer program has been released, people has discovered alot of bugs, glitches or/and that it is incomplete even and they complain on how crappy the program actually is because the creator didn't do (or rather didn't got the chance to) the final steps to polish the program.
They wont blame your friend because after all he is just the messager and people will go all nerd-rage and berserk on you on how badly you screwed up the program and even if they blamed your friend, your friend will yell that he is just the messager and that it is your work so don't shout on him and then your complete reputation as a programmer was been destroyed.
If you were the programmer and 1 of the 2 situations happens to you, You would be extremely pissed too right? Just saying
