I still love Sonic Mania, but going back to it after playing the original trilogy, specifically 1, I feel Sonic builds up momentum a little too quickly.

I like how if you go to an episode page on the Back at the Barnyard wiki, you'll get every single frame of one random second of said episode as individual JPGs.
Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing has one of the greatest rosters in kart racer history. Too bad they screwed it up for the sequel by removing the cool characters like the Bonanza Bros. and ChuChus.

I don't get why Princess Charm was the breakout character of the Knockout City trailer. Her design is really weird with her short size/stupid feet and she's just a generic "what if damsel in distress but BADASS" sort of character.
Now Corgon on the other hand, I like him.
It's funny how in the 90s, Nintendo's ad campaigns tended to try to exaggerate the gross-out elements of their games... with the exception of the character who was actually gross in the Japanese versions.
