I saw the Java duke mascot around a lot as a kid (I think he was in the credits for some java games?) and I always thought he was supposed to be a Calgon pod
I had a dream where the head of Pixar wanted to split from Disney, but wasn't allowed to, so there was an illegal agreement between Pixar and... I think Whirlpool washing machines? to produce films in their warehouse, stealing and reallocating the film finances provided by Disney, and release them under the name HIXAR, and it was this big covered-up thing that was reported to the public by a Miraheze fan wiki.
Screw it - here's my evaluation of what Mario-adjacent series I'd classify as an extension of Mario and which I'd classify as a split series to get a unique series symbol

I agree with the notion that computers don't look interesting anymore, but Windows also has to cut out all the wacky animations. Just let me click and see the thing I need, don't do some stupid scrolling effect that adds half a second at best and outright hurts optimization at worst.
i saw the project m thumbnail in the news section and my first thought was "is project m coming back?" even though THAT LITERALLY ALREADY HAPPENED.
The idea of a 5th dimensional "this was a prequel all along" twist in a Donkey Kong game is really funny to me. I guess it's not that far off from Mr. Pipe in Yoshi's New Island, but still.
On my Ring Racers mods, I got one that is a photorealistic Tesla, and it's essentially become my heel whenever it shows up in CPU rotation - getting 1st place takes second priority to beating Elon. Somehow it's actually a really good motivator lamo.

There were literally no leaks.... everything was shown by Nintendo.

Watching the Karl Jobst court case and I really enjoy how the judge emphasises the "KEY" in "Donkey Kong". We should start saying it like that.
I think the changes in the Noise update from the Peppino campaign are more significiant than you would expect from a "play as a different character" mode but also way less significant than they've been hyped up to be.
Also Pogo Noise is the better moveset (even if it should have a game of its own and not be attached to Peppino's levels)
my biggest takeaway from the minecraft movie is that the guy who made the oogieloves was an actual ahead of his time visionary.
pokemon is a quirky earthbound-inspired rpg
